Finished Expedition 33 and Star Wars Dark Forces. Expedition 33 was a solid 9/10 while Dark Forces had really shitty level design so It's a 5/10. Will continue with the other Jedi Knight games before I get preoccupied with Mario Kart World and Deltarune.

Why get a Switch 2?
Within the first six months I want Mario Kart, Bravely Default, Kirby, the better version of Pokemon, the better version of Metroid and the portable Gamecube games (Steam Deck could probably do the latter but I don't own one).
It's unlikely to go down in price with current market conditions, and I can comfortably afford it, so there's no reason to wait, from my perspective.

My personal advice is just throw yourself out there. It will feel awkward at first but think of any attempt to talk or say something to others is a case of throwing shit at the wall and seeing what sticks. Something is more likely to stick if you throw it at the wall 1000 times instead of just 10. There is no way to learn to throw it once to make it stick every time. You just keep throwing.
Also for the love of god, avoid putting yourself down. Doing so is very draining to others. Even if people like you or share interests, they may find it hard to do so if you often bring up that you dislike yourself or otherwise hyper-criticize yourself.

Oh just some easy to get through the game and get all the achievements, longsword and kite shield. I got my fill of DS2 PvP back in 2015 where I used a buckler and estoc and got to the highest rank of that pvp covenant.

The Marshal King is really interesting so far. It goes without saying, but Boichi is still one of the best artists working in manga today and the only thing that stopped me from reading all 12 chapters before bed was that I was tired.

Fine, but my money is drying up fast. Need to find another way to make money. I've been abstaining from Anon Babble because I got tired of Clair Obscur spoilers all over the catalog. I'll finish it eventually. I'm in act 2, and it has gotten tedious. Every new enemy you run into is just a parry test, and there doesn't seem to be much point investing in defensive stats. I guess I could lower the difficulty, but eh. The reliance on parrying and dodging is the problem. It's fine outside of that.
On an unrelated note, I decided to wait on a Switch 2 purchase. Nothing I want has a release date, and I'm not too interested in buying it day one. Maybe next year.

No, but it's my first time re-playan it. Played it for the first time way back in like 2015 maybe.
Rivals has been awesome but I think the honeymoon phase is just about over on a grander scale. I think the best part is the variety of characters and their play styles, therefore team compositions. Every class (Tank, DPS, Heals) has a character you can have a lot of fun with even if you typically don't play those roles.
But the bad part, why I think some people are starting to sour on the game, is the constant balance changes (especially in regard to comp). But I don't think a character being nerfed makes them unviable, just more challenging to play. My main, Magik, got "nerfed" a few months ago but I can still kick ass with her.
It's free though so check it out, won't hurt.

I'm writing an essay about social dynamics and the punishements used to enforce them. The idea came from using Anon Babble, since a lot of anons —myself included— struggle with these things. When I started to think about it and write and structure my essay I realized that I am quite passionate about this topic and have a lot to say about it. Upon completion I plan on submitting it to an essay contest a respected local literary magazine promotes every year. Writing the essay itself is already great but winning it would be even better, since the prize money is quite substantial and I could use it to partially bankroll my jewelry making studies in Paris.
I am also waiting to buy the Switch 2 later. Hopefully they have managed to do something to reduce the risk of joycon drift this time.

Damn, they're making a Nekopara sequel? That was the first anime-style visual novel I ever played.
The first two levels you are a bit weak, but the enemies you are facing are super weak too... Basically once you hit the third level and get the rocket launcher you are unstoppable. The ice and frag grenades are also insanely powerful. Then you get the SSG with the flaming chain giving you infinite health. I'm playing the DLC on ultra nightmare and I just wish they would make it even harder (they give you even more tools in the DLC which is insane)
