What games have you replayed the most?
What games have you replayed the most?
Mega Man 2
quake
Im guessing only single player games count
In that case its Vampire bloodlines
HOMM, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, Dawn of War 1&2, PES6, Vice City and San Andreas, Metal Slug, Bomberman, Shinobi, Shadow Dancer.
Skyrim, game of the decade
Yeah I played it countless times and that's only for the setting, the cool/flashy factor, the voice actors, the customization, the soundtrack and all that. I didn't think the gameplay that's all about locking and staggering was deep or interesting. Yet, I must have finished the game twenty times.
If starting a new game and not finishing counts, probably Sid Meier's Pirates!
Like number of times from start to finish or hours played?
F.E.A.R.
Still the best shooter for me.
That's a fucking retarded quote.
Elden Ring or Persona 5
Probably San Andreas or GTA III.
I don't replay any games.
Ssx 3.
Ssx3
Ssx3
Ssx3 just beating it takes max 10 hours (platon medals) getting to the last peak only like 3. The music is still amazing, with the difficulty mixes, the feeling of speed has never been replicated. I play it at least two three times every year since it's so short.
Megaman X since I used to run it
I wasnt good at it or anything but still
Based
I don't read/play that book/game, so it must be shit.
Resident evil 4, Yoshi island, Mario galaxy
Witcher 1
Prince of Persia Sands of Time
Deus Ex: HR
Why would I want to re-experience a linear narrative multiple times? Just so I can be like "haha oh wow that was actually foreshadowed the whole time" like fuckin who gives a shit? If you have a decent enough memory or have been paying attention at all, you can have that same experience on your first time reading a book.
Jade Empire
Aria of Sorrow
Probably one of the Bungie Halos but i couldn't tell you which.
If you have a decent enough memory or have been paying attention at all
Which you don't, and weren't. Play it again.
Dood
Dick Kickem
Full-Life Consequences
Team Seamstress Deuce (and classical)
Pokemon
Particularly KANTOOO
I don't play any games*
-Anon Babble
A Link to the Past
Mega Man X
Sonic 3 & Knuckles
Ys Book I & II
Ys Seven
Stupidest opinion ever
if I can’t constantly re-experience something, it’s bad!!
Or just don’t have ADHD and Alzheimer’s
Good experiences stick with you regardless of how many times you may or may not revisit them, and in some cases you cannot revisit them, like your first kiss or first love
I don’t replay games nowadays. I grew up in the 90s and was a poorfag. I had to rewatch and replay the same games dozens of times. It’s usually games back then like Contra, Super Metroid and Super Mario Bros that I had to replay a lot. I liked playing Mass Effect 1 and 2 over to see how evil Shephard could get as well as seeing female Shepard who had decent acting, I’m not a troon lol. Remember Anon Babble before all threads were about troons and people complaining about third world people? But nowadays I’d rather just play a new game even if it’s a shitty game.
Halo 1 for me
t. only played shit games
This desu. Imagine replaying Outer Wilds or Obra Dinn. It's just impossible to have the same experience the second go-round.
A better question would be what game did you feel like you'd never want to play again after finishing it? Last time for me was the Half Life 1 remake because the Xen part of it was so fucking shit
Imbecile.
Resident Evil 2 for PS1 like 30+ times maybe
I was trying to learn how to speedrun it just for fun
Seething zoomies who don't have the attention span to make it through any media longer than a TikTok video are showing up to be stupid in here
Based.
Skyrim and Fallout4
StS and dota 2
Good list.
Or more recently blue prince. Makes no sense with these kinda games where learning it is beating it
This
If only completions count then either God Hand or Double Dragon Advance
Spiderman on PS1, had to have been over a hundred times
This. One of the best video games of all time.
How the fuck do you replay Skyrim? Why????
Every playthrough is the exact same and all the quests are so poorly written that they're not even worth playing the first time.
Kotor
Mass Effect
No, not blue prince. Nothing of value in that game. Forgotten forever within 2 years and never mentioned again.
you watch 8 hour long video essays made by homosexuals and you're surprised people would replay games that they like?
I replayed it recently because I never finished the main quest and the DLCs and the stories in them were all shit. People talked how they were bad and boring and I didn't think it could be that bad but they were, they all just end with you killing the boss and there's no other gratification afterwards especially since you're probably so strong you'll one shot Alduin, the vampire king and Miraak so you're left thinking was that it?
At least Morrowind and Oblivion had those cutscenes where they tell you how great of a guy you were for killing the big bad.
Blood omen 2, castlevania aria of sorrow & rondo of blood, oblivion, ps3 demons souls, gex 2 & 3, suikoden & fallout 3/new vegas.
Those are my gaming comfort food I can always go back to.
Vanilla incentivized playing 1/4th of the game with 4 different characters because hyper focusing only build relevant skills was the only way to become ridiculously op due to the retarded way enemy scaling worked. You were actively incentivized to avoid leveling skills or you would become weaker.
No way. This game will be mentioned forever
spyro and luigi's mansion. both of them are short even when going for 100% which probably contributes to me replaying them so often.
I replay Pikmin every year or two and without looking up speedrun strats or planning the entire route my high score is 11 days
It's fun
It can barely generate a thread and is like 1.5 months old. The real death of its relevance is that its world and lore are a nothingburger. There is no substance to the game. It is all just checklist dressing without a larger theme with substance to comment on.
nassim nicholas taleb
yeah, opinion discarded
go be a midwit somewhere else
Demon's Souls and Dark Souls
Ratchet & Clank 1, 2 and 3
GTA IV and its DLC
MGS2 and 3
DMC3 and 4
Fucking love these games so much
Most of them desu.
Most games outstay their welcome by a large margin, and they have nothing to offer well before you finish them once.
the PS2 trilogy of Ace Combat games.
I don't, my autism level isn't nearly that high. I think Dishonored, dark souls and maybe mirrors edge are the only games I have played twice and even then I got souls fatigue after DS 2 so it was probably a mistake to do that.
I don't understand why people don't get bored of experiencing the same thing over and over. I feel like I have to wait 15 years for people to start feeling the same level of franchise fatigue I do, which locks me out of every IP for atleast a couple generations till they change shit.
Valheim and older Dead Space(s). I guess RE4 on the gamecube and the REmake 2.
Honestly disappointed that they never made paid (I mean preferably free but lol capcom) DLC for remake2 that expanded on it a bit and included the older enemies. Like a NG mode with giant spiders and what not.
