No, Fallout is a bad franchise with bad games. Fallout 1&2 were slightly interesting with their lore and world building, to but the gameplay was also horrible.

How did we go from 2008 ironman being able to convincingly have tony stark's head popping out of the suit, and even dynamically have the suit close and cover his face, to the later avengers movies where him (and bruce that one time) always looked superimposed onto it, to now Fallout not eve being able to make it look like he's convincingly in a suit of power armor even when it's just a still photo?

The lighting on the suit doesn't match the lighting on his face at all. The black levels on the suit are actually black (look at left torso/shoulder), while is face is not in complete shadow on the left, and I think the thing that really does it is the edge highlighting on the left of his face, the suit not only doesn't have it, but it looks like studio photo shoot lighting (which... y'know, it is) but they're supposed to be outside, and the suit is lit like it's outside.

Obsidian never understood what made Fallout work, especially the satire of capitalism and American jingoism.

I know this is bait but I seriously fail to understand how people, who unironically believe this is what fallout is about, came to that conclusion by looking at the original games.
