Its just the last time i got a game everyone was shitting their pants over It was Baulders gate and i stopped playing after like 8 hours. I just couldn't deal with the combat. It was so annoying and took forever. Story seemed fine but i just wasnt having any fun with it.
I feel you I kinda dropped Baldurs Gate myself. But this one is good. But you can always look at game play videos to see if it’s to your liking
ngl some of the fights in E33 are super annoying because enemies take forever to resolve their attacks (clair + obscur enemies) but you can always ignore all the optional shit and beeline to the end if you want. There are no random encounters. The main story bosses aren't that bad.
Yea. I should watch more gameplay. The only turn based game i ever liked or bothered playing because i hate anime, was superstar saga. I loved that. So i know I can handle turn based stuff.

There is a lot of optional bosses. It’s just the main bosses you have to fight. But there is also a lot of chance to grind.
I´m happy for them. I hope they can stay true to their beliefs of making fun games they want to play themselves and don´t end up turning into suits.

You can ignore almost every encounter besides bosses, levels don't really matter. You can defeat every enemy at least once to drop pictos and thats it. Yo can just try defeating monster who obviously give some high reward (off the beaten path or with some strange vibes all around)

I love final fantasy and have played every one(except for 16 because it’s dogshit slop), thank GOD e33 is going to outsell ff16 and rebirth.
I waited like a good enixcuck and spent 50 dollars to buy rebirth when it came to pc, and was genuinely shocked that it was just a fucking Ubisoft game. Why did they make it a Ubisoft checklist game? Why does every mechanic have to have yellow paint or a big ass arrow pointing me at where to go? It’s just boring, and not fun. The music is good, but the music is always good. Surely square will learn from e33’s success and innovate for once in their lives to make ff17 a banger game.
