I would love that fix. I'd also love an optional first person mode, out on foot and inside vehicles, just to maximize on the immersion.
Peak 7/10 game, if it had a story and there wasn’t collectables littered everywhere like every ubishit game it would be one of my favourites. Bolivia is a cool setting

nah. That's why it's good. With Ubisoft's writers they'd only fuck it up. There is very minimal story-telling in Wildlands and it's all the better for it. It's all about the setting and the immersion.

Wildlands being completely open world ruins the game experience. Having all that useless area not utilized in missions and used for retarded collectathon bullshit annoys me.
It would of been ideal if helo travel was stripped completely and the map was scaled way the fuck down and made completely treacherous to navigate, imagine MGS3 style linearity but no loading zones. You can travel freely but instead of just hiking around a mountain you have to navigate chokepoints which you absolutely cannot ignore

shit opinion. Wildlands is an open world game done right. The world is actually diverse and interesting to explore. Pro tip: You don't need to collect everything, just go for the guns and gear you are actually interested in and then do the missions or just fuck around.

If it had movement comparable to Breakpoint it would be a far better game for it. MGSV would be preferable but Ubishart has its limitations. Shooting coked up Bolivians is more enjoyable than a bunch of bored mercs skulking around some shitty corpo blocks.

It was 5/10 game in the purest sense carried by the map itself and the roving AI faction wars that you can escalate. With more tweaking you could bump it up to a 6/10.

I actually think there is a way better game buried somewhere in Breakpoint, but no matter what the devs did to try and update and improve it they still never really found it. That said, being able to play with the AI squad and turning off all the loot and stat shit from launch was a big fix that made it playable and decent. Core mechanics like being able to camouflage in mud was a great addition and I liked the map (it reminded me of Just Cause 2 for some reason)

Why did they decided to kill all their multiplayer offerings besides Siege? Not even leaked AC multiplayer game will play like original AC multiplayer appearently, it will be a Fall Guys clone instead(unironically).
Breakpoint is fun if you turn off your HUD and turn on the true night mode. Half the time what makes Ubisoft games so shit is the horrible and overbearing UI. I do need the game to show me where all the enemies are. I do not need to know when an enemy is spotting me. I don't need the minimap to reveal enemy locations for me in a 50m radius. But I guess Ubisoft has 0 faith in the average consoomer. Maybe they're right, but I think a lot of chad players don't realize how good these games get with a limited HUD, because their games usually look very good.

Activate the heat map that shows all player movement data collected since launch and it shows you that the only reason people explores the map outside of missions is to either find the Yeti from a youtube guide they watched or to grab the collectables if they're OCD forced to do so.
80% of the map is ignored by with nobody taking the slightest fuck what could be out there and none of it matters if you can bypass the "exploration" stage in a helicopter anyway. Which everyone besides you apparently do.
If you want a diverse game world without empty spaces thats actually utilized to its fullest then look at the predecessor Future Soldier & SC: Blacklist. Many different countries, many different environments, all of them worth a damn and designed properly. That checks the diversity box, and you don't need to run up a side of a mountain to "explore". They have properly crafted levels with great level design that feature multiple paths to discover as you get better at the game and identify them. That checks the exploration box.

Admittedly i havent played it in a while. But for just tactically scouting and clearing out bases, i dont have many complaints.
The vehicles aren't great, having the purple dudes flip out on you for no reason is annoying, and the progession is whatever.
