This writer should really take a hard look inside until it´s capable of accepting the game was just not good. Moving the focus away from Solas to favor some nobodies was a terrible decision that instantly killed the appeal of dreadwolf, namely having to face against a former friend and ally.
Doing away with the weight of all previous world choices also effectively killed the interest of long term fans who were promised that these games would allow them to shape their own Dragon Age world.
Doing away with choices that would allow the player to be evil/aggressive/negative/renegade because they wanted to address controversial issues without taking any fire for it and reducing companion customization killed it in general for anyone wanting to play an RPG.
Having MMORPG tier mechanics that broke immersion was cringe, and having weird asexual body builds that ignored anatomical differences between males and females even killed it for people that only care for the dating sim aspects of it.

It´s like the game was made specifically to piss off it´s own target audience and all that´s even before mentioning the inconsistencies in lore or the wokeness.
