SMT IV

Whoever made the map design for Tokyo in this game deserves to be shot on sight

Nah fr, I used a guide I admit it

the overworld song is really good though

not really cause i'm still beating it
it's just bad

People really need to stfu about muh map design, is really not that bad.

The tight ass music and game play makes up for it though.

NOOOO YOU CAN'T GIVE REASONABLE CRITICISM OF A GAME I ENJOY ITS NOT FAIR

it's you that needs to stfu faggot

Maybe stop being a little bitch and stop complaining about non-issues .This is why IV:A map is so handholdy and linear in comparison.

They wouldn't have redesigned it to be a kindergarten-tier grid if the criticism wasn't valid
Same goes for the more merciful tutorial zone

Go to the Ginza district if you're so great

they replaced one bad thing with another bad thing so you shouldn't give criticism

people like you are why the gaming industry is in the gutter

The jacket they are wearing looks just like the Obelisk Blue outfit.

I was gonna say who was paying attention to map design when you were greeted by that aural delight.

I love SMTIV but the game as far worse problems than the overworld map, like, not having actual dungeons for once.

Snobby assholes who get humbled, go through character development, and come in clutch is my favorite trope

Same goes for the more merciful tutorial zone

that's just a byproduct of reducing damage for both sides.

Nah fr, I used a guide I admit it

your entire generation is fucking retarded

I miss streetpassing demons and seeing people's loadouts

The criticism is not valid. They are making games dumber and dumber so you fucking retards can actually beat them. SMTIV is not even a complex game, don't know how you can get lost in the overworld

wasting your time going through constant random encounters trying to figure out where to go when it's a quick google search away is much more retarded. either that or you just have too much time on your hands which is equally pathetic

Time AND intelligence, you got filtered.

rather be filtered than a lonely perma virgin

People really do be silly on here

Nice comeback dude , you totally don't look like a cuck that couldn't beat a children game

i've beaten it twice you retard, you call my comebacks shit yet you're insults rely on baseless assumptions quite ironic
i can't imagine being a pathetic incel AND fucking retarded, that's actually pretty grim

Because the map is cluttered, moreso than the previous and future entries. SMT I and II didn't have this problem, Devil Summoner didn't have this problem, IV:A and V don't have this problem, and those games are all serviceable

yet you're insults rely on baseless assumptions quite ironi

rather be filtered than a lonely perma virgin

failure of a man

That's why it is fixed in 4A

bragging about how you didn't have to use a guide on a "children's game" on an online forum for degenerates

not a baseless assumption at all anon, you've given me all the proof i need

it's not that bad, the worst part about this game is the neutral ending

you can't beat a game made for children and you are chimping out. take your hrt already loser

One day gamers will rise up, and stop being disrespected by the Nintendo man

SMT games on Sony consoles are always good, Nintendo is usually trash, why do they do this to us?

Imagine them without their jackets and they'll look like Luke Skywalker from the original star wars movie.
Good. Dungeons always sucked ass.

t. still doesn't know how to get to camp ichigaya

Nice try, poser.

yeah i totally couldn't beat it anon, whatever helps you get to sleep tonight

false flagging as a retard

not having actual dungeons for once.

"Oh hey Demon's Domain what is that? are these the game's dungeons? cool"

go inside one

its just randomly generated hallways with loot and random encounters and a boss at the end

If it spared us even one YHVH's Universe then it was worth it.

Oh! Most bussin!

this whole game was a chore to finish. SMTNocturne and Vengeance are where its at. fuck the purists.

I liked the blocked cities and buildings.

Apocalypse also added "actual" dungeons alongside simplifying the Tokyo map - AKA long corridors of nothing rather than designing locations that actually looked like locations like SMTIV did.

The complaint about SMTIV's dungeons was always dumb.

I had no problem with it, but I was also incredibly mystified by this game. It was my first SMT, and I actually went back and played all of them.

It brought me to the series, I love it despite its flaws. Also embarrassing to admit, but I grew up with Religious Trauma. this game helped me cope with it a lot. I had an edgy phase but it also brought me closer to accepting how I personally feel about God, and my relationship with God. I will forever be grateful to this series for that.

the only "actual dungeon" SMTIV:A had was YHVH's Universe, for actual dungeons I had Strange Journey dungeons in mind.
