Just like how some games show your folder title in the game? As long as it's isolated to your computer and not downloaded so they can use it themselves, it should be fine. It's only a problem if you're an edgy streamer.

That's the scariest thing I could think of, I hate my voice and I'm petrified and paranoid a microphone or my phone/PC is recording or playing my voice in multiplayer games and stopped in case it's happening without me knowing it. I hate discord, Skype etc. for this reason.

I try not to speak near the walls in my house because I'm worried the neighbours might have drilled into their walls and placed microphones or cameras adjacent to my wall in a way to secretly pick up my voice and record me but I can't tell unless I make a hole and investigate but then they would either hear it and hide it and pretend that I'm crazy or I will find nothing and THEN they might record me from that point on thinking I'm crazy.

Context is key but theres no point to explain and make others understand a situation they couldn't know or understand especially when they just jump to conclusions and make hurtful statements, I believe everyone should be heard out at the least and people should try to understand each other but people have become more cold and indifferent, judgemental and so on. It's not friendly whimsical and courteous like it used to be back in the days of Ever Quest and old Runescape.

I miss MMO games but everyone wants to join discord, Skype, ventrilo, mumble, teamspeak etc. and when I speak people treat me differently all of a sudden compared to how we communicated through text chats and such. They pry and get too friendly like they're investigating or something and it's not in a natural way because exclusively text based communication friendships are very balanced and measured and cordial but as soon as the vocal component is added it gets weird and almost perverse and obsessive as they pry and pry and want to know more and it never stops. When everyone stops talking when you speak or sniffle and then they all respond to every small comment or observation you make it feels like your surrounded by NPCs or something. When things get quiet for just a second and they start asking you questions it's stifling.
