Legends 2 is going to cut a lot of Pokemon that were in the X and Y dex for all those starters.

The problem is fossil starters are a pain in the ass to use. Pretty much every game they're in they come in at a low level compared to what your team is likely at and in games like Kanto they're part water which you need to even get to the place where you revive them in the first place.

I feel like to use a fossil mon you have to actively plan for it, not just play the game normally and decide to use it once you get it on a whim.
