The reason this generation sucks in particular is because it only started in 2023 as no one could buy SeS/SeX/PS5s until Covid was over due all the scalpers and how they were all instantly sold out due to chip demand. Only Nintendo got away unscathed because they weren't using the chips that were in high demand so they were able to consistently produce systems. The fact that Sony and Microsoft refuse to acknowledge the effect Covid had on everything this generation is asinine and they both pretend that because their systems came out in 2020 that's when the generation started despite no one being able to buy the damn things so we should end the gen in like two years from now. Apparently 30% of surveyed PCs use a 30 series card, 14% use 40 series cards, 20 series are 8-10% and 10 series are 10-12% and AMD is only 8% across all generations (lol).

So roughly 52-54% of all PCs on Steam are RTX capable, only 10-12% of people are still using 10 series, and AMDkeks are only 8%. So maybe 30% of all Steam users are using absolute dogshit pcs, but more than half of them are at least using RTX capable PCs. 10 series slowly fading away.
