There are mods for combat, enemies, cool automation stuff, farming, survival, building, etc. Just go on curseforge and start typing in keywords of things you're into and sort by most downloads, usually can't miss. Just don't go too crazy at first. Maybe use an established modpack (just google the best ones and pick what you think looks coolest)
