The lack of such games is rather odd

A simple 3D game set in a high fantasy world

knights and wizards

dragons and uncanny monsters

different races and politics

there's only very few that I can think of, such as TES series, The Witcher and Dragon Age
how about new names that aren't decades old? or a new refreshing take on this formula? may I even say the forbidden world isekai

Elden Ring is what you want bronyOP

dragons? politics and other races?
oh right, it's just a half-baked boss rush

dragons?

Tons of em, multiple races even

politics and other races?

The whole game is about politics among different races.

What I really hate about fantasy games is that so many of them just want to be DnD. I don't want customizeable characters. I don't want to make a whole party in some extremely bland turn-based slop. This is why I only like Zelda and a few oddballs like Shadow of the Colossus. Maybe I just enjoy action games but I also like having one well-design hero and not having to waste my fucking time talking to npcs with nothing interesting to say. I just want to walk in 3D and slay motherfucking dragons.

boring

you can easily find what you're seeking if you looked DEEP into steam
but everything there is indie, somewhat low effort and not as majestic and wall breaking as something with manpower and money behind it, but its somewhat creative to say the least
both creatively AND money? nah, not in this industry

you can't just steal my dead thread

Dragons Dogma you fool

AI just needs to take over more so ideas guys can start a media revolution
I can make roleplay heavy mods that garner tens of thousands of plays and people writing headcanon and walk throughs and stuff for it, but I can't spend 10 years of my life solo/small team deving until one of my products becomes decent and makes me enough money to hire a bigger team and then that 3D game is pretty good but still not ideal because we don't have the time/manpower to hyper tune animations, voice acting, other details and by the time you have infinite resources to re-make your original games how they were always meant to be you're a tired old man like Todd Howard responsible for thousands of employees

There's plenty of fucking dragons in elden ring. Recycled though they may be, dragons there be.

?
There are dragons, other races, and politics (the entire drive of the story is a grasp for power within a family as they split off into factions).

I also want to add that I don't care about complex story or politics. Almost all of them are extremely derivative anyway. You want to stop an evil wizard? But you MUST understand that the elf race has had a long history of infighting within its clans which the glorks, their long archnemisis over 10,000 years, are taking advantage of and blah blah blah. DOESN'T FUCKING MATTER. I just like cool monsters and forests and stoney towers and magic spells.

Dark and Light

Early access from 2017

Oh god I can tell it's kino already

file.png - 347x241, 113.96K

dragons

There are like 20-something dragons.

politics

The game is about a war of succession.

other races

Nox, Misbegotten, demi-humans, Those Who Live in Death, Omens, etc.

Don't bother, there is no conversation to be had with a fromdrone

Dragon's dogma 1

I'm guessing BG3 is more your speed.

AI

I been saying since the beginning that this is a good thing for gaming
but alas, the way it's progressing and how devs are using it/not using it made me uncertain

TES

shit taste, Dragonirian

Yeah it is basically an ark survival evolved clone in a fantasy setting that never received any updates past initial early access release.

give examples

NOOOO NOT LIKE THAT

OP is a cum guzzler

this is just dark souls

Never heard of it.

you should try it, if you like tower dungeon the original dark souls has pretty similar vibes

ai

more ideas

wut

all what I see from this thread are same fucking 5 games or so

TES

Witcher

Dragon Age

Dragon's Dogma

Elder Ring (so fromcucks can shat up)

I will stealthy add Gothic and KoA Re-Reckoning

a short list for a beloved setting (just look st LoTR/Skyrim)
what fucking gives?

there just aren't very many good games

I thought I was FromSoft's biggest dickrider, but Elden Ring just isn't that good or really remotely like what OP is looking for.
It's a Dark Souls greatest hits compilation spread thin over an open world. It's a very mediocre game.

This is a meme topic by a brony and anons know how to wind him up.

its fucking great
Nihei probably been playing the shit out the souls series then decided to make one last ride

cool stuff

yeah the only other nihei I've read is blame, but tower dungeon is great so far
it's funny though how the setting and architecture and armor and weapons and everything really does just feel straight from ds1 though

The lack of good fantasy games hurts when you've played the usual suspects. Looking through Steam is just depressing when you've already done so at least a hundred times.
Waiting for that full release of Tainted Grail at the end of next month.
Making a hybrid vtt/rpgm game to pass the time; the idea is much more fun than sitting in front of the real thing.

Dragon's Dogma, retard

agreed
i wish italians were real

Chapter 17 was fucking great.

Same bro, same

I'm having a blast!

poor aridellia though

WAIT A MINUTE
this is just the first area of DS1 with that bird nest on the edge
this fucking hack I swear

Dragon's Dogma 2 did this but you niggas just called it woke and whatnot.

yes, it looks just like undead asylum

I would forgive it, even it was the wokest of woke and dullest of all
if only
IF ONLY
IT HAD FUCKING LOLIS

The sheer volume of defensive replies and none of them mention the core issue of the point.

You love to see it

Yes need a game with attenttto detail of RDR2 but medieval. I hate GTA modern day shit

actually the first reply responded very precisely to the core point

This is dark fantasy not high fantasy

dark fantasy is high fantasy

How do you miss the point TWICE even after having to go back and double check.
