Light denying the 4th for a long time basically allowed him to expand and face Dong over the whole match, because Lurker/Queen/Defiler gave him no way to go into Ultras

It was knife's edge because Light himself was running very low on minerals and was trying to expand INTO Dong's right bases. Securing the top left base is what won him the game.

4pool was super busted for two reasons 1) larva spawned SUPER quickly originally and it was nerfed to hell 2) pool was cheaper. Then zerg got other big nerfs because Z was OP vs Protoss so that hurts zerg big time against terran, that's why the matchup is so busted. Still to this day I want to see SCVs have the same HP as other workers and see how the game develops, it'd change a lot of things. Make things more even for Z/P

Protoss basically needs a third base pretty quickly and hydras can essentially beat any Toss unit up until reavers/shuttle, they don't have the hardcounters Terran has for basically everything. Scourge can hit shuttles any time because dragoons really suck at killing scourge

Protoss players are unwilling to commit to learning sair/reaver, it gets used maybe once or twice every year in pro matches. Dark Archons are still criminally underused although I'm glad they're seeing a small resurgence. Recall strats could still be refined more and I would like to see protoss players try to use multiple recalls to bounce units across the map. Even the dumb fringe strategies that obviously will never work would be fun to see every once in a while as a surprise factor, like Dweb committal or single scout harass.
Instead protoss players are content to just gateway man every game and then cry about shit being unfair.

Long - Nerfs to zerg, everything costs too much gas, have to spend even more gas into scourge unless you want to lose to 2 dropships, all the upgrades/hive/defilers adds up. People used to say 4gas is when Zerg starts to spiral out of control but they run out of gas from main/natural eventually and have to expand again. If Terran keeps their vessels alive and just keeps irradiating then zerg can't win. It's also just the fact having to micro mutas and keeping them where they need to be takes too much AMP, zerg has to micro too much. In terms of costs Terran has perfect mineral/gas expenses, for zerg and protoss it's much more lopsided which is what makes them weaker/prone to dying to stuff

lategame army control for zerg is garbage. They mostly control it using rally points and boxing, with extra care on the defilers and lurkers to get the spells/burrows going. also handling mutas is difficult and if you just rightclick hte vessels there is a decent chance your mutas just get shot by marines
