so far a really bad year for games but then again most supposed big hiters like silksong and ... and.... yeah i got nothing else.. a mgs remaster is just whatever, death stranding has nothing outside of "omg le weird" not even gameplay, borderlines is and was always shit, nightrain makes no sense, monster hunter wilds is actually one of the first monster hunter games that is just shit.

I would say possibly replace one of those with Blue Prince as the games journalists seemed weirdly obsessed with that game. but i'm positive those 1st 3 games in my list will be there 100% as everyone seems to love E33 and games journalists love Kojima games and Josef Fares games. I would say Ghost of Yotei or Metroid Prime 4 are most likely to be swapped with Blue Prince if you were to remove one of the 6 games in the list.

to be fair that was mostly done to attack rebirth/out of hatred for final fantasy for whatever fucked up reason and not because of quality of metaphor which is objectively a worse jrpg than rebirth, maybe they didnt want to give rebirth best rpg because its not a the end of the trilogy and then they will give it to it for part3 kinda like a lord of the rings situation after all is finished etc

but yeah out of all the things i played so far this year expidition is one of the better ones.. it would still be a weak pick and only a goty win because of a weak year in games.
