The only PS1 thing it has going on is the low texture resolution and vertex warbling, but otherwise Its shaded, animated and in expansive enough environments to the point it does look like a PS2 game

I applaud whoever made this for fighting Godot long enough to produce something that doesn't look like shit, but was it worth it?
Whatever code commits the people who the troons blocked were working on/have worked on since. It's a new fork so it doesn't have as many unique features as, for instance, Blazium, but it's being maintained and updated by former core devs of Godot who were now essentially orphaned by the mental illness of the trannies.
In fact one of their priorities right now is maintaining project compatibility on the stable branch to give devs who want to time to switch over smoothly, so they're cleaning up a lot of bugfixes that were ignored in Godot previously either due to time constraints or the mental illness of the trannies keeping them from accepting good commits patching bugs (they had like a backlog of commits that weren't being pushed through)
Meanwhile the experimental branch so far has some obvious C-style parity stuff added for GDScript like structs, traits, FINALLY increment and decrement operators so far.
