I have to agree with Yahtzee that glory kill sounds too similar to glory hole
You do them in gameplay now instead of watching a cut scene. They said it was due to the increased enemy count and not wanting to be constantly breaking up the flow of combat. There are still some synced animations for bosses and "leaders" I think.

I can kinda agree with this for the Master Levels to a degree, but that might be because I did Ultra Nightmare the campaign after planning that out.
I think I got too used to figuring out what I can and can't sacrifice for Campaign UN while the MLs just give you fucking everything.
