Finally a JRPG without:
gay anime aesthetic
cringy tropes or Japanese "humor"
juvenile writing
braindead, tedious spreadsheet combat
digimon reject pile enemies and bosses
bland, empty overworld
full of padding and bloat
It's an actual well-written, mature, grounded story with compelling characters, challenging and engaging combat, memorable bosses, and a sense of adventure. Is that so much to ask for?
