The quests are pretty barebones, a quest log would be nice, minimaps would help for areas especially when backtracking, and the balancing in Act 3 could be better, but those are pretty minor nitpicks, and it's a solid 9-9.5/10 on a scale where shit like FF7 is a 5 or 6.

Fuck no, absolutely brilliant game, literally everything I could ever want out of an RPG. I have some nitpicks here and there, but it was just such an absolute blast for the 200+ hours and 3 playthroughs I put into it.

Also these are just in order by stars, but the same star ratings aren't in order, I think it is just sorted by most recent or something like that.

MGS3 has great depth and attention to detail and frequently allows for a lot of approaches. Take The End for example. You can try to sneak up on him. You can try to snipe him. You can snipe him when you first see him way early, and damaging him there means he has less life in the boss battle. And if your'e really a shitter he dies from fucking old age.

Both the Axon fights were incredible, Paintress was just a trip, Lampmaster was a lot of fun, the development of the story in the end of act 2, optimizing builds and trying out different combinations, the scale of the overworld and how it slowly opens up as you get the Esquie upgrades, and the loads of endgame/side content.

Expedition 33 has kino tier cinematography presentation in everything. From the way the cutscenes are directed to how the music is perfectly adjusted to you finishing a boss.
In fact it might be the most kino game I've ever played with Shadow Hearts 2 (and this game has fucking kino all around) and MGS 3.

I have tried like a dozen times to get into BG3 and I just can’t. I’ve never made it past the first visit to the druid grove, the game is just so fucking obnoxious and boring and contrived.
I’m a Paladin, why exactly am I bad for righteously slaughtering demons?
Why does every fight take 20 minutes?
Why do I have to spend 3 turns running to melee range?
Why is everyone a faggot?
Why is there a nigger?
Why does the entire grove go hostile because I “stole” a bone that costs 1 fucking GP?
Why is there a “tactical” and “normal” option for combat when they’re both exactly the same Larianshit turn-based-but-even-worse?
I’ve spent like a dozen hours downloading mods to fix all the major problems but every single post I see about the game makes me think it was written specifically for Joss Wheedon’s flagrantly homosexual dimensional twin, and I think maybe I don’t need to play it at all.
