The only reason the game was good was because the director Troy Leavitt was pretty based. Even though he was fired halfway through, the foundation he left pretty much saved the game from being terrible.

well i thought it was a bit odd the game barely does anything with the school they modelled so well, and is 90% generic combat focussed action-adventure game in dungeons. i watched my sister, a casual gamer, struggle to understand parrying and the color matching combat in the tutorial. though she eventually got into it and went for 100% (thats what she does in the few games she plays) - i found it strange for a game that's obviously for normies was so combat focussed.

all of that to say, i think the game should have more of a focus on life-sim in the school - however that seems even less likely from a sequel, seeing as it will probably just follow on and expand the established development of being open world and dungeons.
doesn't need much there even, just more lesson stuff, more House RP-like content (so you can really FEEL like a Slytherine student), and deeper spell casting mechanics.
they already said they didn't do the House cup stuff before because it would limit the timeline and scope, but i think they could figure it out.
