It's so OVER for you now
It's so OVER for you now
That's a pretty low play count for such a regarded reboot of a universally famous franchise
For who?
I'm sure it'll be much bigger by the weekend but it doesn't seem like it'll be by much. Looks like Clair Obscur won hard for now. Can it beat 104k peak for Eternals at least?
chuds forgot about Gamepass again
steam
Irrelevant platform
Why is Microsoft afraid of public statistics then?
ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY DOLLARYDOOS
How is this some Anon Babbletard shitflinging ground?
The performance is low for such a recognized franchise retard
Although DOOM is originally a boomer PC series I bet the majority of its playerbase nowadays plays consoles. Still pretty sad.
That's even worse. The devs barely make any money from game pass, and neither does Microsoft.
Dark Ages is a cool concept but a faggot baby game and it truly fucking sucks.
It's a first party game
steam charts autism
Get a hobby faggots
went full jewish
its shit
damn... expected
This is only player count unfortunately we can never really guess how many people actually bought the game because there are people who bought it but probably won't play it for months or years so if have to unfortunately trust how many people play it at the same time and reviews but if we could see how many people bought the game I'm willing to bet would be around 300k or so it's DOOM even of it's a 4 out of 10 it will sell like hot cakes let's be honest with ourselves for a second.
These are the same poster
(for the cuckold have to wait edition)
I just didn't buy it because my PC can't run it. It's quite literally that simple and I won't buy any games my PC can't run until I decide to upgrade in like 3 years or so. Maybe don't be retarded and expect most players to upgrade for your game lol
What are your pc specs? I'm getting a gaming desktop for the first time and it has a 3070
They just have to cook the lighting lmao
BLOW IT OUT YOUR ASS
Yeah same boat. I wanna play at like 144fps preferably. Don’t wanna chug along trying to get barely 60 because of ray tracing requirements and fucking muh graphics. Oh well other games to play.
Backroom deals forcing ray tracing will do that.
steam
lmao
slot machines rule
lol
also
2021
They're at something like 10 billion now.
Most people literally can't run it. The Steam forums are full of people seething about forced raytracing, including tards who bought it without checking the system requirements.
They worship programmers at Id. One of them said it would be too much work to disable ray tracing and nobody did what they should have done and told him to shut his stupid nerd mouth and implement it anyway.
Why do people here invest so much time into whether or not other people are playing games?
Wow still lower than Nintendo 5 years ago wow
why are people still posting about fallout
revenue =/= profit
this place is brainrot personified, just get out while you can
Only good games are popular. If your game isnt popular then it's shit.
I'm glad poorfags aren't considered in today's gaming era
modern games are dogshit
lol poorfags
classic deflection nigger
This is the best doom so far, you wouldn't know that for being poor though so I understand
Impressive because valve is doing absolutely nothing
design games around specs less than half of the consumer base has
"wtf why is no one buying our game"
go broke
retards on Anon Babble will defend this
many such cases
where did i say i'm a poorfag? it's just a strawman you always invent in your head, because you can't handle people disliking modern games
WTF are you talking about nigger. The game runs on a 3050 and the gamepass cost $12
As long as it doesn't hold back gaming and let's my tech take full advantage it's fine
le poorfag cope!!!
post 5090 or GTFO nigger
Don't care. Not playing your reddit boomer shooter.
It “runs”
Some people don’t enjoy slideshows nigger.
I'm surprised. I thought it'd be way higher. I guess people don't want to stand and fight.
Oh who am I kidding, they just don't have a raytracing capable GPU.
HOW DARE YOU CRITICIZE MODERN VIDEO GAY SLOP, YOU FUCKING POORNIGGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Embarassing.
i7 i7 7700k + 1080ti
still playing new releases at 1440p
can't play nudoom 3 because my card can't calculate light rays disappear 5 seconds slower than reality when a light goes out
maybe I'll get it on the ps5 pro
no mouse and keyboard support
Clearly the target audience for this game is morons, they're the only ones who will be playing
Damn.
What went wrong?
I'm not paying $80 for a video game, let alone $100+ for 3 day early access to a video game.
That's retarded.
I enjoyed 2016. I don’t consider it a great game in any way, but it was fun enough. Didn’t get around to eternal. Maybe I’m wrong or the webms are cherrypicked, but this one looks bad
parryslop
I don't think there is a way for whoever made that graph to know Steam's revenue.
It is Thursday. The game won't peak until Sunday.
Anyway, player numbers are still pretty low.
lol then enjoy lower profits I guess
gaming didn't become the juggernaut it is today by being an expensive hobby
You haven’t looked into this at all
Post hypotheses. Post math
That’s because despite what people will pretend on here, Steam is majority thirdies and poorfags
Game pass brings in more than 4B in revenue for Xbox, and we know from the leaked FTC documents that they spend about 1B on content acquisition. Xbox has 70% of the headcount of EA, who spent $2.4B on dev costs last year, so Xbox is probably spending about $2B, meaning they’re pulling in a billion dollars just on gamepass revenue, while also making money selling the games on other platforms.
What CPUs and GPUs did they have? How much RAM? Which version of Windows? We reached out to Microsoft, hoping they might know answers to questions like, 'How many DX7 cards are in use? Or DX8?' Unfortunately, they didn’t have the data either. Realizing we were at risk of making bad decisions without these insights, we developed an analysis tool that allowed players to report their hardware specs to us, and integrated it into the early version of Steam. The data was so useful that we decided to make it public, launching the Steam Hardware Survey in April 2003. It’s been helping us—and hopefully other developers—make informed decisions ever since.

Yeah, for Microsoft. But I don't see how AAA developers and publishers benefit from it. In this case doesn't matter
