If you side with Arasaka then it just follows what Jackie tells you before dying with "you can kick rat out of a corpo but not corpo out of a rat" showing you learned nothing and Jackie, despite saying it as a joke, was right while you get burned again trying to appease corporations

With Nomad or Street Kid you just find yourself in a bad situation with a person who you don't even know that long yet, there is no additional context or irony to all that corpo related story.

High intelligence means lots of ram for crowd control quickhacks like cyberpsycho, weap glitch, fried optics etc. Plus tetratronic deck that has the highest extra ram count while enhancing damage against targets laced with non combat quickhacks while prolonging the effects. high body gives adrenaline rush and 2x high HP pool mitigating the motherload hits that otherwise one shot you plus overload for quickhacks

put on the quickslot mod to rapidly change nades (flash, smoke, emp) and cyberware and you have ultimate crowd control to splatter them with weapons of your choice as they fight amongst themselves

only real downside is no sandy

The system is kinda silly but also you may think of it as how different it is from normal body.
Like yeah, full body replacement is way more drastic but overall you probably feel no difference except for feeling healthier and maybe even looking better.
But if you replace your eyes with some advanced large optics then it's a massive difference in your perception as suddenly you can see light spectrums your mind was never designed for and whenever you look in the mirror you see artificial cameras staring at you where your eyes used to be.
Then same for limb replacements for example, suddenly your arm can turn into a gun or blade with mere thought and you're well aware of that fact at all times, or using sandy and experiencing way more information that you ever should etc.
So in short, it doesn't matter how invasive the procedure itself is or how much body it replaces, all that matters is how different it is from just your regular body. If you can't really tell a difference between your normal body and augmented one it's fine even if 99% of it isn't your body anymore, if it gives you experiences your human mind was never meant to experience then you'll go crazy eventually the more shit you stack up.

Shadowrun works more the way you think, with it being your physical body that matters the most when augmenting yourself since it's literally your soul getting shredded rather than some actual insanity.
