Steam deck version

There is no "steam deck version" of the game. It's just running on lowest settings to barely chug along and function. Of course a version that's optimized for new hardware will run better.

My big question is when will Valve announce a Steam Deck 2. I hope it's not too soon, as I'd like something that can handle Unreal 5 somewhat well.

The game runs better on Deck, probably at a higher resolution too, but the Switch 2's upscaling is better so the final image quality is better.

yeah, i didnt actually care about switch 2 until i couldnt even play the shitty overrated overhyped game expedition 33 on my deck to check if its overrated. its actually even more than that, it was that combined with the fact that i couldnt play the indiana jones game which is a game i ACTUALLY wanted to play that was the last straw. Literally dont care about whatever retarded narrative the masses have hopped on to convince themselves the switch 2 is evil.
the entire reason why i bought the steam deck in the first place, was because there were simply some games that i didnt have access to or couldnt play on my switch, shit like sekiro and whatnot. of course there were emulation games too, but i have my phone for that, and besides, other than tomb raider, most emulated games were not worth it, literally only 1 emulated games are in my top 10. 3 are in my top 15, and 1 of those, i played on my 3DS.

Steam Deck has failed me. Id say its only good for stuff like Deus Ex but...if thats the case, its now occupying the position my switch lite used to, where i kept it for nintendo exclusives and not my main device.

Besides, theres even more levels to this, like the simple fact that i could play with my switch under the covers due to the fan not bellowing up in my face. And its generally more comfortable to hold.
