Magic: The Gathering Arena is a video game released in 2018 that still gets supported to this day. We are around three weeks away from the Final Fantasy set releasing on it. New cards got previewed this past week and I'm gonna post them now.

Final Fantasy I only has this new card to add to its collection. Final Fantasy II doesn't have any new cards. It's in the exact same place it was a week ago.

As someone that has never played it nor has any interest in it, it does sadden me how much of this set is being spent on 14. Just an endless cavalcade of cards from this game. It's easily the most represented game. A MTG Set in Arena is the same as a MTG Set in paper magic. Arena is gonna have the set be draftable and sealed, and in fact it releases on Arena before it releases on paper.

This is literally the opposite of how it should work.
Part of what makes MTG fun is when cards interact in cool somehow out there ways with each other. For example, you could be playing a game where you're facing Dragonlord Dromoka. You use Mu Yanling's ability to take flying away from it. Then, you cast Defenestrate.
You just constrained the wings of a dragon so that you could throw it out of a window and it dies as a result.
THAT'S the MTG equivalent of when Sabin suplexed the train.
Instead, the card goes explicitly goes "lol you can deal damage or exile the train xD"

Omega really should be in, he's pretty iconic. Mime could be a really cool card with something like "This creature has all activated abilities of all cards on the battlefield'.
Hoping they give the other 4 party members a card too, but it seems like they aren't doing that for every game.
Knights of the Round is one of the timmiest white cards I have ever seen.

It has to be a creature to be targeted, that was a clause which causes creatures that has another type, planeswalker, land, artifact, enchantment, battle, tribal.
So it would exile the train due to it being an artifact, but also would answer overlords when they come online.
