What will its legacy be?

What will its legacy be?

I'm just jealous AC fans at least got one more

Hey that was the game the elden ring guys made

dunno but i really like it. i genuinely think its only great flaw is there isn't more of it.

For me, it's how fun of a villain Snail is.

Who’re you, a King’s Field fan?

still not new ULTIAMTE EDITION for this gen

Where is it? Where is my Elden Ring but AC with fixed stagger mechanic?

This game wasnt really made for AC fans

stagger

health kits

missing parts

missing mechanics

soulstrash

Soulskino

has no I frames on rolling

Don't push that on us. We don't want your robot trash either

Thanks god.

2027.

I don't believe (You).

Maybe the sequel will have the mechs cast a force field when they dodge.

That really fun game that didn't get dlcs because Elden Ring got way more sales. Still pisses me off because this is much better.

Worse, an Echo Night fan

ikr? Shit is jsut dark souls but with mecha skin

Still pisses me off because this is much better.

No way. If only it was like an Elden Ring. With open map, challenging enemies etc. Grid 086 was pure kino

i like elite dangerous, ace combat games, zone of enders 2 but i HATE mech warrior 5 when i tried it, would i like armoured core 6? (never played armoured core before, how is it diff from mech warrior)

completely different gameplay from mechwarrior. of the games you mentioned its probably closer to zone of the enders

no turn speed
stagger shit
souls game

The Stagger bar is my favorite souls mechanic!
Unironically what causes this blatant falsehood in the AC community?

hopefully ace combat 8

As a solid 7.5/10 with cool graphics and decent gameplay.

I really did not like the stagger mechanic.
And no it's not because it's "not muh AC".
It's because it's much shittier than how it works in Sekiro.
In Sekiro staggering an enemy causes a stun and instant kill (or removes a boss healthbar).
In AC6 it just causes you to do higher DPS. Feels very unsatisfying. Amazed that Sekiro's lead designer didn't understand what made Sekiro work. Must have been the Miyazaki touch.

There's dial between ZOE and Mechwarrior and AC is somewhere in the middle. You're cool dude in a cool mech that goes crazy fast, but it's not fully permaflight magictech either.

Too short.

Sekiro's system is retarded. It's just a glorified health bar. To the point that the actual health bar isn't actually relevant. You can deplete a boss's health to 0 and they still won't die until you inexplicably hit them while they're specifically blocking.
Stagger in Armored Core 6 is great because it's a simple vulnerability window, like a fighting game stun. Instead of being forced to go into an epic QTE cinematic finisher, you get to perform your own combo. And there's actual counterplay and management of stagger. As opposed to Sekiro where parrying everything literally nullifies posture damage.

Yeah I dropped the gamw because of the stagger bs. That shit has no place in a mecha game.

no one even remembers this game was made. everyone still thinks fromsoftware's last game was elden ring and theyre coming out with nightreign next

I remember. Best thing From's made in years.

this is sad, this game is fun and I wish the scope was bigger like in acfa or acvd

Why not? I think it does.

Also, I find it amusing how the only from game I've seen virtually free of jank is the least played

It's so galling that this is their most technically competent game by a longshot. They finally fixed a bunch of shit about their engine, it runs at a flawless 120 FPS without a single stutter, and then they didn't fucking backport anything. So both Shadow of the Erdtree and Nightreign run like shit again.
I'm not interested in more Elden Ring, but I don't understand why the people that are interested aren't more pissed off about that.

Why the fuck would a mecha take more damage, if I stagger it enough? They just shoved in shit from their usual souls game. A rocket doesn't do magically more damage, because I staggered a mecha with my twin shotguns first. It's retarded.

I don't see what that's got to do with mecha though. It's not like they're realistic to start with.

Why the fuck would it not? You don't know how a mech works.
It's in the game because it lets kill people with a pile bunker and that's fucking awesome.

Congratulations!

I can't beat fucking Cel 240, what the fuck is that difficulty spike? I spent like three hours total trying to beat it but I can't even clear first phase consistently. I didn't touch the game for a week now, close to dropping it.

Change your loadout instead of beating your head against a wall. That's the point of the game.

Loadout?

It saddens me that people will never appreciate how good the piloting in Gen 5 is. 6 feels bland and sterile by comparison.

Easy, they don't even know because the didn't care about AC

Sure, the mode switch was annoying and a big flaw of the system, I don't deny the gen suffers a lot because of the multiplayer approach. But look at how much you got outside of it

wall jumping

make quickturning more engaging by making you drift manually on the ground

gliding

kicks and physical melee deals more damage if you got faster

It's all very dynamic
