You can skip the tutorials for every other Life if you want so its really fast but you might as well play them all for content

they brought me the materials i couldn't get with those two classes and they stacked merc and paladin

turned into this system of rotation between all of us and it allowed me to become the best damn black smith while providing my friends the best armor and weapons they could ever want even has the name of the creator of said weapon/armor on it so it was nice when we showed each other inventories to see my name on all the best gear

theres nothing as complicated as that in this game, theres just normal attack, magic attack, defense and magic defense, everything is based off your gear

What people are saying is when you start out its okay to just play 1 combat class. You can unlock every class right at the start of the game, so its recommended to just get all the gathering classes unlocked first, while crafting is mostly optional cause you dont really have to cook if you dont want to. But you do need to be able to chop wood and mine.

I remember the original was kinda like monster hunter and runescape combined but fun.

and the class screenshot so, you get this menu after like 5 minutes, idk when you unlock farmer and artist though. But you can switch classes whenever you want, the game will autoswitch you to appropriate class too but your combat class is going to be the one you pick to main (can also switch).

Classes have levels so the more you play as them the stronger/more advanced they'll get

you don't use the mouse for aiming attacks or anything, thats all keyboard. by default mouse is for executing an attack and aiming the camera
