You can mostly main a Life but make sure to just actually unlock everything at once so you get access to all the facilities.

You can skip the tutorials for every other Life if you want so its really fast but you might as well play them all for content

the first life tutorial you did was extra long, the additional life intro quests are just a single quest, like 10 minutes. You should do them just so you get to meet the NPCs and know where to go/what the job does

I think so. I would say maybe like 10-15 hours of my 400 hour play time of the original was multiplayer. The game lets you recruit NPC characters so you’re not assed out.

they brought me the materials i couldn't get with those two classes and they stacked merc and paladin

turned into this system of rotation between all of us and it allowed me to become the best damn black smith while providing my friends the best armor and weapons they could ever want even has the name of the creator of said weapon/armor on it so it was nice when we showed each other inventories to see my name on all the best gear

theres nothing as complicated as that in this game, theres just normal attack, magic attack, defense and magic defense, everything is based off your gear

What people are saying is when you start out its okay to just play 1 combat class. You can unlock every class right at the start of the game, so its recommended to just get all the gathering classes unlocked first, while crafting is mostly optional cause you dont really have to cook if you dont want to. But you do need to be able to chop wood and mine.
