the worst part is that even when you unlock autobuild so you can skip the tedious and retarded building process, you just end up spawning the same trifan air bike thing over and over to shitstomp every overworld puzzle.

genuinely, ultrahand was such a ridiculous waste of dev time when all they had to do was let link unlock a handful of fixed vehicles over the course of the game, like the master cycle.
each one could have gotten progressively more powerful until you finally unlocked air bike variants 150 hours in instead of 10 hours in like in the real game. instead they went with retarded clunky over-complicated bullshit that hurt the game beyond repair just so they could farm viral social media clips of link torturing koroks.

I hope so. You only have to look at the new Donkey Kong game see Nintendo are the only AAA developer using extra processing power to create new gameplay ideas.

The biggest disappointment for me in totk was how little hyrule had changed. The best part of BOTW was discovering stuff and places but I'd done that already so TOTK fell a bit flat for me.

BotW's Hyrule is already the best fantasy world ever coded in game. Being able to revisit that world, now expanded, with all new gameplay mechanics, was a kind of a dream game for me.

You are still trying to make the vehicle idea work, when it just doesn't fit Zelda very well either as a thematic or a gameplay concept.
I know Zelda never was a very faithful medieval fantasy, but actually alive mounts beside the horse would still have been the more fitting implementation, and gameplay wise more powerful (e.g. a Dodongo that can firebreath).
