No? If you've read Umineko Yasu is literally used in EP2 from Shannon. Everything is perceived narratively in Umineko including the characters which is why magic scenes exist at all. Shannon and Kanon are shown as separate characters via the Narrative with Beato being the witch persona of Yasu and the closest representation in narrative of Yasu not by name.

It's a narrative trick. The same type used by Beato when she wins against Erika. It states narratively the introduction of Yasu in regular text, adhereing to Knox 1st via foreshadowing whilst also not showing Yasu in narrative. Everything has to be contextualized in Umineko and if you weren't such a brainlet you would've come to that conclusion.

I'll make it simple like Umineko would.

[Red]The criminal must be someone who is mentioned in the early part of the story[Red].
Also Umineko thread. [Blue] They are mentioned in EP2 by Shannon.[Blue]

[Red]But must not be anyone whose thoughts the reader has been allowed to follow[Red]

[Blue]As per above characters Shannon and Kanon are treated separately by the narrative and we only ever see them presented as such. Yasu as a character sprite is never seen so contextually we never see their thoughts until EP 7 as per Clair when everything is spelled out. Narrative trickery same as the rest of Umineko[Blue]

I tihnk umineko sucks

Cool. I just wanted to say that all to btfo some retarded goat anyway. Especially when Shannon is considered as persona of Yasu's as the "perfect servant".

I don't think I can watch his streams anymore. His tantrums are too embarrassing to watch. It's undignified for a 40 year old man to react the way that he does-he has steam coming out of his ears when an adult should have a certain distance to and levity with the subject-and I unreasonably get banned when I (justly) call him a retarded nigger faggot for behaving like a big shit-diapered baby.

Yasu is literally used in EP2 from Shannon.

You're thinking of "Sayo". "Yasu" isn't mentioned until episode 7, thus violating Knox's 1st.

Most people on here are too retarded to actually read Umineko and not sperg out. A normalfag like Joe is equivalent read Umineko will result in this video happening.

It's irrelevant since her full name is Sayo Yasuda anyway so it's referring to her and her alone with no other persona trickery or narratively any other persons. Contextually it still works so suck my dick nigger, I'm right you're wrong.

I'm wrong but I'm still right

lol

Sayo and Yasu are different people just like Yasu and Shannon are.

I'm right by virtue of narrative still equating Sayo and Yasu as short hands for her full name and not treated as Persona's by the narrative. Next time trying using those little grey cells more.

[Golden Truth]I certify they are the same

Also read the novel dumb fuck. Your blue truth would be axed by red in an instant.

Knox's 8th

It is forbidden for the case to be resolved with clues that are not presented

Full name is never given until episode 7, nor is there any hint that Yasu is her name until then. Also, even if I accept what you're saying, this would still break Knox's 1st because the narrative follow's "Sayo's" thoughts. Either way, this breaks Knox's rules and you're a faggot.

Also read the novel dumb fuck.

I did. Sayo and Yoshiya are personas just as much as Shannon and Kanon are.

but the story specifically says there's no guarantee that it follows Knox's rules

No because it's a narrative trick. She says her true name is Sayo but narratively we only see Shannon. We also see it from George's perspective. Also Sayo and Yasu are proven to be referring to the same person so Golden Truth applies because anyone who actually read the novel would agree with me. This isn't like Kanon and Shannon which are treated as separate entities by the narrative or like Clair or Lion despite technically being the same.

Lol no. Seriously, bait harder nigger.

Umineko also breaks Van Dine's rules

2nd:

No willful tricks or deceptions may be played on the reader

3rd:

There must be no love interest in the story.

11th:

Servants--such as butlers, footmen, valets, game-keepers, cooks, and the like--must not be chosen by the author as the culprit

16th:

A detective novel should contain no long descriptive passages, no literary dallying with side-issues, no subtly worked-out character analyses, no "atmospheric" preoccupations.

Knox this, Knox that
How about you guys take it easy, have some tasty yoghurt or something, eat a cool little snack and chill out?

Also Sayo and Yasu are proven to be referring to the same person

Only in episode 7, hence still a violation of Knox's 1st. No amount of semantics will change this.

Not really. Only 11 and 16 are used in Umineko in your list.

The culprit isn't a servant since Yasu is the rightful owner of the Island and narratively Yasu and Shannon are separate and is done to throw off people who didn't know the truth.

16 is stated in Umineko as 'There shall be no descriptive passages beyond what's necessary' so it's not exact to knox and refers to how Gold Butterflies represent golden magic as Yasu bribing or is 'magic' in the sense of being fictitious ss Kanon pretends to die and switches to Shanon or if she's dead she reverts to her actual self which we never see narratively speaking.

If it's foreshadowing the same person who is introduced in some fashion narratively speaking even in spoken word how does this violate knox 1st?

Semantics

This is Umineko nigger, elaborate on your theory or gtfo. I bet you can't say in red that Yasu and Sayo aren't the sane

Not really. Only 11 and 16 are used in Umineko in your list.

You say here that "narrative" tricks are used. 2 applies. And there is obviously a love story between Beatrice and Battler.

The culprit isn't a servant since Yasu is the rightful owner of the Island

Not mutually exclusive. Yasu can be both and is still a servant.

Van dines second isn't used in Umineko. Read the novel nigger, if you say it in red choke like the bitch you are.

The red for servant states as such [Red]It is forbidden for a servant to be the culprit[Red] This is true, Sayo narratively is not a servant, Shanon and Kanon are. They are treated separately as I have said a million times. Keep up nigger.

If it's foreshadowing the same person

It's not foreshadowing if there are no clues to foreshadow it.

Let me use an analogy here. Imagine we have a detective novel and one of the characters is named "Jane Doe." We follow Jane's thoughts several times throughout the book. In the final act, it's revealed that she has multiple personalities, is the culprit, and her middle name is "Rose". You can't just say, ah well "Rose" was actually the culprit, not Jane Doe so that doesn't violate Knox's first.

Shanon and Kanon are.

And Shannon, as a servant, says her name is "Sayo". Ergo, Sayo is a servant.
Even a child can comprehend this.

nah its too entertaining watching everyone freak out over made up rules

Yasu is not a servant so 11 is fine

Disingenuous to the point I won't bother explaining since it misses all of the context Umineko sets up regarding truth and the narrative. This is awful anon, I don't need to debate you if you haven't even read the novel. The clue is it's her real name and that's enough foreshadowing when you account for all the other evidence of the real culprit and foreshadowing of who the real culprit is in the narrative.

We only see Shannon when she says her name us Sayo. No red is used either. If Battler said their name was Kanon it wouldn't work as narratively they considered different. You seem to either miss the point of multiple truths/contextual truth or are just retarded. Either way I win so bye.

Either way I win so bye.

I accept your concession, better luck next thread.

Okay Erika.

Umineko Episode 5: End of the Golden Witch was the most disappointing thing since my marriage. While I eventually divorced my wife and left my kids, the unfortunate reality is that Episode 5 will be around forever. It will never go away. It can never be undone.

Van dine doesn't apply to umineko otherwise Willard would have won against Bern

he actually looks like a chad now

It's not if Shannon is breaking character, which she is when she reveals her name. But it doesn't really matter because Kanon also does this and calls himself Yoshiya, and both beings are pretend servants anyway which still doesn't violate any rules.

Joe is going to play Three Houses next

On the one hand, FE threads being plagued by his fans sounds like a hilarious dumpster fire.
On the other hand, I'll be a bit sad if these threads become less frequent and go back to being the same few shitflingers every thread again.

Did he drop it then? I hope so. I don't want his annoying streamer ilk to infest this series any longer.

where was it confirmed that its been dropped?

That's being too kind to Umineko.

no

I just had a gander at his subreddit looking for a picture of his face and that's what they were saying.

Maybe Umineko should have had more normie filters in Episode 1.
But then again, Higurashi became far more popular despite having more perverted otaku humor.

Battler's tit groping and overall pervertedness is enough to drive most undesirables off. Honestly, Umineko doesn't need normalfag filters. Nobody without love will be able to appreciate it anyway.

I want to throatfuck Lambda so hard.

Its funny watching him crash out though. I don't want him to stop but the Shkanon reveal might actually make him drop it after ep 5 scenes with battler in the same room as them.

That'll be a shitshow. I have no interest in watching him stream games like that. But the game is pretty trashy and full of anime bullshit so he's gonna be held hostage by his chat that wants him to play weeb shit while he hates every minute.

Shoulda focused more on your career instead of chasing e-clout, e-drama, and e-whores, Joe.

I don't get why he's crying about BG3 viewership. Surely he makes enough money playing fucking video games to play a game he enjoys and not give a fuck about the viewer numbers occasionally.

Its funny watching him crash out though.

It's not fun watching a middle-aged autistic man stomp his feet in anger and have him scream and cry into your ear. It's pitiful.

Why didn't Erika realize that Kinzo was already dead?

He's recently divorced, paying alimony + his own living expenses. Finances are tight.

Yeah but Van Dine's rules are mostly shit.

I thought he wasn't actually legally married.

Doesn't matter in Canada. If you live together long enough you are common law married.

canuck

I really should have known. Tbf I've not heard him speak in like 8 years.
