They will run as before but any that had variable internal resolution or weren't reaching their frame rate cap or had loading issues may see slight improvements. These'll vary heavily between games, though.

Classic example I like to give is that PS4 games that never got a specific PS5 patch/upgrade work the same way, and because of that Gravity Rush 2, which had asset streaming issues if you were going REALLY fast in busy areas, has those issues basically disappear entirely if you play on PS5.

An example of a Switch game with no patch or upgrade for Switch 2 currently that I expect to have similar benefits is Xenoblade 2. It had variable internal resolution that really got low in some locations in portable mode. I expect that will be less of an issue on Switch 2.

Hard to say whether it'll necessarily be "docked performance" though.

It'd be such an insane addition. They're clearly avoiding certain games (Smash Bros 64 still not out, so I don't expect Melee will be added either, and no mainline Pokemon RPGs) which tells me anything that might have an audience for a port of some kind might not end up on the service, and I can see AC being one of those. AC also has the one flaw that it probably is tough to get working perfectly since you'd have emulation-within-emulation with the NES furniture items too.

SV are pretty okay. The framerate is shit, and there being no clear indicator for overworld shinies sucks, but it's a legitimately alright experience. Probably the first time I've had fun with a Pokémon game since black/white 2. The main difference there is Game Freak didn't develop the GameCube Pokemon RPGs, so they likely don't have strong thoughts of "creative vision" over them.
