For me, it's Goomba.

it's fucking gay u cant make your own kart anymore

Someone linked a YouTube video explaining the potential and discovered depth of the new trick mechanics and it honestly seems insane. The skill ceiling is going to be much higher, I'm wondering how it's balanced for casuals

was that the wadsm vid?

For me it's Crash Team Racing on ps1

Shut the fuck up, Eric.

I've been playing mk64 these past few days and it's a shame that a lot of these n64 courses like frappe snowland, royal raceway, kalamari desert, and DK jungle parkway are not in world because they would be perfect for the game

Sure was

You say that but the game still have no release date.

Swapping tires and gliders was hardly making your own kart.

cool

looking forward to see what good players will be able to pull off, I think even open world exploration will look fun with these new mechanics, might even end up with traversal challenges like in 3D mario games where skilled players can take massive shortcuts through the environments by clever use of the mechanics

When were we even able to do that? MK8 got kind of close but the metafags made it so that only two types were viable.

why're there so many straight line tracks

This is your 3D Mario game for the year btw. No but seriously I think this is going to scratch that itch with the exploration and platforming mechanics

you can trick off shrunken players

you can trick off busses

you can trick off players to recover from a blue shell

Unnecessary details that have no business being in the game and that’s why I love ‘em

why are you brown

They are very necessary details that make straightaways more interesting since you can combo down the entire road jumping from the top of a car to a wall ride to a rail etc. People who say the straight roads look boring are never going to win knockout tour

botw style

OOTsnoys are already having meltdowns and the Switch 2 hasn't even come out yet, let alone BoTW3 being announced. I don't think they're going to live when that happens.

How do people play Mario Kart games for more than a week? The game has barely changed fundamentally since Double Dash.

I know >Nintendo fans but c'mon.

It's a cult.

why even play racing games at that point

Thanks for outing yourself as a cubesnoy. Really makes things easier on my end.

he comes to a nintendo thread just to seethe

what a sad life you have

Proceeds to run around a rainbow colored circle for an entire decade

booster course was 2023

I played MK8 for months on my Wii U, idk it was just fun. I'm hoping I can play MKW for months on my Switch 2.

Uh oh, someone got in your safe space. Gonna rattle your 30 year old man crib.

BRrbrbrBRBrbRBbrbrb

Man I really hope so. I have my doubts.
If they showed the overworld being more interesting and interactive, the missions being more interesting, more characters we haven't seen before, etc. then I would be on the Mario Kart World hype train. Right now I think all they showed us is going to be it, which looks bare bones to me. How hard would it have been to have you go walk up to an NPC, talk to them to accept their challenge, be transported to a 3 lap special race with special conditions (ex. all item boxes are now fake), and then beating them in a race earns you a new kart or costume or something cool? I didn't see anything like that. I'm out.

... precisely why people are so excited for the next one. Are you retarded? Don't answer that

Now we can select karts that have actual personality now.

you're more obsessed with nintendo than actual nintendofags and that's sad

Karts are earned as they were previously; 100 coins for a random kart

Where is he

He was raped

$19.99 tour pass

Ah forgot about the coin system. That stinks. They should have you earn cool, new karts as rewards for hitting certain criteria (getting 1st place in Star Cup in 100CC, etc.).
DLC Season 5 pack

I hate playing on anything less than 150cc

I could select a tank in MKDS. Where is the equivalent here

I hope DLC gives us emblems again.

Ngl me too but they did something like that in DS and it wasn’t fun having to play 50cc to unlock daisy. Now imagine having to play 32 different grand prix for all manners of different karts/characters. Makes it more of a chore

it has my waifu and nu-DK in it so I'm gonna enjoy it

In first

keep getting run over and end in last

massive skill issue

I'm going to miss Link. I'll pay whatever price to get him back

Odds are they'll just bring him back for Zelda's 40th anniversary next year.

Nintendo servers at 0030 Eastern time on June 5, 2025

On the plus side the new tracks all have really cool theming from what we've seen so far. They did a great job making them look exciting from afar as you approach

I'm trying not to spoil myself too much so I don't know how most courses look like

Wow you just discovered why people get bored of games as they get older.

If there's one reason why I want the switch 2 to be hacked or its exclusives to be emulated is so i can get character model replacements.

I'm really hoping there's free Donkey Kong dlc when bananza comes out with the kong crew characters

I'm buying this.
Fuck Switch 2 and it's 80$ games lmao!
