im sorry anon, but you've grown accustomed to the taste of shit.

GOAT submarine controller

f310 controller works fine for years

buy another one just in case

decide to play a fighting game

both break within a month

What the fuck was their problem?

manchild

Yep, it's ludo time.

it wasn't even the best controller when it was brand new, poorfag-sama

There are $20 controllers with hall sticks and programmable buttons yet Anon Babble still swears by the cheapest shittiest controller money can buy

Post it then.

Good morning saars.

shut the fuck up stockton

People knocked the Titan, and it had a shitton of problems, but honestly, controller controls weren't one of them. It's a simple, proven, user interface that just works for controlling vehicles. There's a reason the military started using xbox 360 controllers for everything instead of bespoke stuff. Rather than teach something new to someone, just give them a generic input device they already know.

military 360 controllers

Yeah, that made sense because they were cheap, there was no risk of shorting supply, and it was a good quality option. And yeah, it also helped that pretty much every service member who plays vidya would be familiar with it.
Imagine if they used modern shitty stick controllers nowadays...

drone strike fails because of joycon drift

Wired 360 controller is still the pinnacle

it is so fucking people actually pay money for something called a 'game sir' lmao

Well, people liked the Game BOY, so I guess that's the next step up?

Anon
This is a controller from 2010

this controller is actually fucking shit compared to its predecessors

I'd rather be crushed to death than use that thing.

I like this one though even if the thumbsticks are a bit stiff at least the dpad aren't.

logitech gamepads never fixed their analog stick sensitivity and flimsy buttons. playstation/xbox controllers being better for the around same price is just unacceptable

it killed billions

This. I don't want to pay $70 for a controller but my old XBone controller is stick drifting and there are so few options.

i have never used a controller that wasn't a regular dualshock/xbox controller

These Logitech controllers are so bad it's actually surprizing. I have never seen so much hardware dead zone before.

These prices should be illegal

You can always go for a PDP controller or a Horipad type controller for a solid controller under $50.

It's some weird marketing campaign; these threads pop up regularly, and the first two controllers mentioned are this Logitech garbage and 8BitDo (less garbage).

PDP controllers are the good ones. PowerA are the cheap chinese ones that break or have drift issues.

Using one of these would make the crew of Titanic Jr. proud.

I had a wired PDP controller and it lasted for years, no stick problems, but the left bumper died on it.

The only particularly good thing about them is the cheap price and long (2 year?) warranty for the inevitable stick drift or malfunctioning button

they're supposedly "officially licensed" not that it means much

It means they work on an Xbox

Playing a space flight game for sure for the memes.

I have a PowerA wired controller for Switch. It is very cheaply made.

At that price its not a bad or a big of a deal, just buy two for the price of one and you save up big time in the long run.

I'll go with PDP then. It has to be better than my current XBone controller that's stick drifting and has the right bumper not work like 10% of the time.

You can get the more expensive version at around $50 and it will have back buttons if you need them otherwise that option is solid.

This is a good controller to sub out

Hori

under $50

What the fug

Hori.jpg - 1466x677, 89.28K

Hori has cheaper options than that faggot.

Rude

This is Anon Babble, calling someone a faggot casually is like calling them a cunt in aussieland newfag.

Whatever, cunt

Are you chinese australian or something? Those aren't real world prices.

this controller sucks ass and all its sticks and triggers drift
shit meme for losers at the bottom of the ocean

THIS POST BROUGHT TO YOU BY NEGCON GANG

It's a little bit cheaper on Woot.

based neggers

find a listing for k-silver JL16 capacitive sticks

notice it has a row of 6 pins instead of the usual 5 in third party, or 3x3 in first party, so it wouldn't slot into anything that wasn't designed for it

incorrectly labeled as a TMR stick

oddly the listing advertises it as a PS5 replacement

even shows the (incompatible) solder joints on the PCB

no mention of an add-in board

what's chang's angle here

Worst controller design ever.

Whoever thought about this really went all the way being the most obnoxious in terms of looks.

what the fuck are you a leaf or something
those are only like 50 in the us, 55 if you want a niche color

No gyro

Depends if you trust the shop. Some good sellers (like Mouser) would have incorrect photos in the listings, you'd need to look up the part number in the manufacturer's datasheet to verify you're buying the right thing.

8bitdo wired 2c ultimate can't be beat for price, quality, and stick sensitivity. The future is buying a plastic cheese wedge of a computer from China called a Weewoo that will run anything you throw at it and costs 200 bucks. The PRC will develop it just for spite and we will love it.

I think you are talking about Odin 2?

Not so specifically, just saying China is big, competitive, and up-and-coming, and the West doesn't make shit but war and movies now. Once the ricey ricies get a-hold of something with yuan signs in their epicanthic eyes, nothing will stop them, not copyright, not inferior case aesthetics, nor their complete lack of ability to come up with good Western-sounding names for their fake brands.

They're like the Japs once were; first they're shit, then their products become the gold standard. No need to gnash teeth over the Yellow Sunrise, just enjoy superior electronics for throwaway prices, and laugh with them about the cheesier aspects of their products' designs.

They just need to get over it and adapt to the markets they want to sell, want to sell to western markets? Just sell it with a simple western name not Chingding 323 or whatever. AYN has the right idea at least compared to Anbernic (completely illegal company that pirates shit and sells it on the western market against the laws.) At least Ayn tries to do some stuff right by the books.

The brand of walking harness for my relatives' massive mutt is called RABBITGOO. Fucking funny and a damned hood harness.

Projection.

The A button broke and no amount of hotglue would fix that

modular is the future

a piece brek

cost a trillion dollars to replace

It's cool conceptually. Feels pretty bad that the current options still have their cope points despite modularity, plus the inflated price tag.
How hard is it to open Victrix's stick modules if you wanted to solder in a new stick?

I need to start making OF content to afford this controller

Companies are too money hungry for this to take off. No controller company wants you buying a $10 part that you easily snap in versus buying a whole new controller.

I never had stick problems on any controller.
No idea what kind of abuse you apes put them through.
Then again, I don't play fucking shooters on a controller.

You can't play a fighting game with an f310. It's for simpler games, not something that will have you rape the dpad.

ZD actually does this exactly, the profit margins are great on individual components at that price. Even better for Sony charging $20 on a stick module that probably costs $0.10 to manufacture.

I just need something to play Monster Hunter with

gamesaaaaaar
redeem the needful

WHY DID YOU REDEEM IT?

the problem with the controller on the sub was that it was a bluetooth controller. I am sure there were spare AAA batteries there, but the bluetooth connection kept failing due to interference down there. I forgot what caused the interference though. was it the hull?

Probably the hull being torn apart and everything inside imploding.
