What game
What game
dark souls 1
FFVI
literally every game
BG3
Red Dead Revolver > Redemption > Redemption 2
xenoblade 2
doom eternal
Sonic adventure 2
Vampire the masquerade bloodlines
Super Mario 64
I felt it was reverse. BG3 started out week in the first Chapter; got really elevated in the second, and then went batshit insane by the third chapter. Like the entire Chapter 3 felt like a DnD campaign that went off the rails.
Lionheart legacy of the crusader
esl
How so? Because one spelling error? That was more phone posting autocorrect and not being assed enough to care
MGS V
Literally other way around
elden ring, the middle being morgott
Tloz -> Darksouls
Sonic adventure 2
But I liked the ARK levels, besides Mad Space obviously.
Persona 5
Bravely Default
VTMB
Retard
At least the best part of the horse is realized
I can't think of any other game that starts off so intriguing and engaging and ends up being so incomprehensibly stupid
Portal
thats a funny danganronpa image
Tales of Arise
good answer
if only the rest of that game was as well done and polished as Barcelona
same retard.
blew their load within the first two dungeons
grim.
Final fantasy 6
awaria.
Chapter 3 lacks the interactivity of chapter 1, is full of bugs, contains objectively the worst quest in the game and another prominent quest that just doesn't have an ending.
pokemon xy
the Danganronpa and nonary games writers are drinking buddies. it should not surprise you that both are equally retarded at concluding their plotlines.
Symphony Of The Night. Starts off fun enough, but eventually every boss fight boils down to rapidly unarmed punching it in the ankles for about 3 seconds and tedious flying in bat form to cross the atrocious reverse castle.
The reverse of this image is Metroid Dred
Is that a male or female horse?
Xenogears
Yeah bg3 has the opposite problem of OP. It wasn’t rushed but bloated and unfocused.
The real OP image is Elden Ring. A third of the way through they give up on any concept of NPCs or storylines completely and half the map is empty space.
Kys horse rapist
whoa based
every, single, last, game series after greedy devs, shareholders, and executives get ahold of it, after they chase off the original devs.
FTFY
/thread
BG3, Elden Ring, Rogue Trader.
expedition 33
final fantasy 7
half life
dark souls 2
Darksiders 2 though THQ running out of money only became visible ~66% into the game
Alice: Madness Returns. No actual disc swap but that game became a rehashed content gauntlet a third of the way in.
you must not have played Xenogears if you compare it to Alice Madness Returns.
Xenogears Disc 2 is literally just a black screen, MC sitting on a chair and white text explaining what is happening. every few minutes you may get a boss fight that the team had finished by then, but that is it.
Vampire survivors. Game gets significantly less enjoyable after you unlock all the weapons
Vampire Survivors isn't a videogame, it is an ADHD, visual overflow dopamine grinder with no actual gameplay
Sonic Unleashed
Indigo Prophecy, and Heavy Rain, and Detroit: Become Human
Zero Escape especially felt like a massive slap to the face, mainly because we almost didn't even get it due to VLR selling like shit. I was excited as fuck for it and what we got was just... absolute shit.
FFVI is the literal opposite
nothing fucking happens in the first half besides terra le awakening to her powers
Phantasy Star Online
Dante's Inferno
EA pushed them to release it so later levels just recycle enemies and there is a big drop in quality after the first ones.
elden ring
excellent first half of the game
second half just recycles the same levels but in a escort mission
god help.you if you give Eileen a weapon
Wind Waker
I remember watching a stream of 999 after hearing good things about it. And like what the actual fuck.
The first 15 minutes of Wind Waker, maybe. It starts unraveling as soon as you get on Tetra's ship. Perhaps the tail is well drawn but the rest of the game is a schizo child's drawing of a horse.
I thought the first two acts were great and felt like the third was completely tacked on. Ultimately the third act tells you, storywise, to rush, but the gameplay tells you to spend 200 hours looking around the largest environment yet. It's stupid.
Divinity OS1 and 2 both were better overall.
Only the ghost place sucked shit because you needed a consumable to fight the ghosts.
you could get cursed too. disagree though. Ghosts you need special tools to interact with are kino and made the area actually feel horrifying in a way none of the others did.
The ghost house is a little much on the enemy spam though, that place fucking sucks.
Literally every game's base game and post game/side content
Im tired of pretending duke archive, catacombs and tomb of giants arent kino areas bros...
Expedition 33
no one with even a modicum of intelligence has shit on the catacombs, only pinwheel. The catacombs design is among the best in the entire franchise to this day.
First act is literally fantastic. Such and horrid take.
How is leyndell empty ? How is Farum and Haligtree empty ? You realise the snow area is supposed to be wasteland right ?
some people literally cannot handle the idea of a plain or open expanse that exists as a transitional area
