There are definitely diminishing returns after about 5 hours, once you've run the whole dungeon and just start hoping for rare loot to justify running hard mode, but it's practically a full game. The timestop gimmick has some fun interactions before you outscale the need for it, and I liked manipulating the mechanics to become a walking death machine.

Then you should be thanking me for bringing a good game to your attention. But is no trouble really. I like supporting devs.

Just played Dispatch. Never been so 50/50 on a demo before in my life.
Pros:

Models/Animation are extremely high-quality for being in-engine; outside of the UI this could just air on TV as-is and not look out of place

The setting gives me a "capeshit Ugly Americans" vibe

Gameplay mechanics are genuinely interesting; picking the right hero for the job based on context clues, upgrading stats, time management, etc.

The banter for all its issues mostly sounds natural, and the delivery was good enough that a couple middling jokes made me smile

Malevola & Invisigal made my dick twitch

Cons:

A majority of the attempts at jokes fall flat, and I'm pretty sure without the animation & voices they all would

Most of the actual hero designs seem pretty uninspired outside of the Irish manlet (Malevola might make me hard but she's just Magik + Karlach).

Could just be a trailer/demo thing but it seems like none of the dialogue options matter outside of what joke you're setting up and MAYBE relationship points with who you're talking to (but in the whole demo I got only one prompt that what I said mattered at all)

So much swearing it feels like parody; my friend got me to watch DMC Netflix and THAT has a comedic amount of "fuck" & "shit" uses from Lady but characters in this demo alone make her sound like a nun by comparison

It's really clear that Flambae is going to actively get in the way of any progress you make in both the story and gameplay just to fuck with you, since he's the only hero on your team who seems to have no redeeming qualities at all and has a past with you
