It's really not witchcraft, a good ENB and a fair command of console commands like TCM FOV and SUCSM to control camera movement speed is really all you need.
Most of the "best" screenshotters are just heavily abusing ENB DOF to get high level photo effects. Being able to export 4k/8k resolution images helps too. There are other tools like Screenshot Menu which are pretty helpful to have...or Poser Hotkeys if you're a peasant that wants to use a broken unsupported mod made by a Korean that disappeared about 8 years ago...but you can make it work still.
You only need conditional expressions and idles that are context sensitive and work during actual gameplay.

Lux is basically the superior replacement of ELFX, and it is superior...its just super patch heavy, with everything being ESL or ESPFE now its not that big a deal to have like 18000 patches but....its a headache making sure you have all the patches you need and sometimes some mods just don't have a patch which requires you to make your own patches which leads to a nonstop work cycle just to launch a game you're going to play about 18 minutes until you notice something fucked with your mods and you have to quit again and spend another 4 and a half hours figuring out whats wrong and fixing that.

There really isn't a perfect collection or wabbajack modpack yet. There are some that claim to be...but no ones released a perfect one.

Creature mods are overrated. To be fair all the non-con and creature stuff that spawned out of LoversLab really kind of demonizes the entire point of sexual content in the game anyways. Like there are entirely valid reasons to want to have sexual content, but you don't have to introduce rape and oviposition just cause theres like.....a few hundred people that dig that.
A healthy Skyrim install has some sexual content to it, some ways to make the characters that actually matter more intimate if you like....but whats the point in randomly sexually assaulting randomly generated NPCs? Or chaurus rape or whatever else. There's just no real reason for that other than porn brained nonsense.
Making it to where you can have more intimate relations with characters that actually have character though...thats what OStim handles best....though it does do some of the noncon stuff too.

Not sure why people pushback on the OStim NG suggestion. It is actively updated and its plugins are clean and also actively updated for the most part. They have also ported the best of what SexLab offers to OStim NG as well so that's a non-issue.
The SexLab sections on LL are a mire of messy unfinished mods, eternal "proof of concepts" and forever betas that haven't been updated in years. A lot of conversions to SE/AE that just don't work as well or are missing features from their original counterparts.

Thats the thing there really aren't any good creature mods. The ones there are are barely patched together ports of stuff made ages ago that are being maintained by people that didn't even create them.
Same with SexLab, Ashal hasn't actually put any work into it in years other than porting versions of it to mainline Skyrim versions but its the same buggy ass mess its always been. And then you have people like Scrab taking that buggy ass mess, iterating on it to "improve it" then introducing other required master mods like Acheron to use it and its just stupid.
Every single one of these things bakes shit into your save files that you'll never get rid of and chances are good if you use these mods you'll never have a Skyrim playthrough that isn't eventually ended by some game wrecking bug you cannot remedy.
And I'm not saying this out of hate for any of the mods, I'm speaking from experience, I used all the SL stuff back in the day when it was relevant...its no longer relevant, its not up to date with modern Skyrim modding standards. Its built by people hamfistedly making systems do things they weren't made to do and doing it in entirely suboptimal ways that introduce massive issues that cascade through your world state and affect everything.
Take SexLab Attraction for example....if your character happens to be very attractive, it will literally cause Aela to HATE you right after she meets you. It immediately sets her rel rank to Rival...and it literally breaks her for Companions quests later down the line.
This is the kind of stupid design you get out of LoversLab and they never fix it.

Gonna be honest with you here as someone that used SL Defeat for years back in the LE and early SE days I eventually got to the point where I just felt like the mods got in the way of the gameplay...this kind of became apparent once things like CGO/SkySA/MCO/BFCO became things and combat in Skyrim actually became a fun part of the game loop. It just felt like getting defeated or "defeating" people just for the lewd purposes made the game less fun and more tacky.

Defeat literally can be used to extend gameplay.
You can abduct people for the dark brotherhood questline and murder them in secluded areas or avoid fighting powerful bandit leaders by sneaking up on them and tying them up.
Kind of off topic, but is there an animation player ( by that I mean a manually controllable menu that can be used to select actors to play a selected animation) for sexlab? I only know about sexlab's built in animation editor but that always uses the player character.

That is also my concern with the sexual content Skyrim has. The best you can really get for it is Amorous Adventures and the dialog for it seems like it was written by a boomer with zero actual life history of interaction with women.
But actual good designers like Everglaid and JaySerpa aren't really going to ever dive into the lewd pool either.
I've often thought about designing a integrated sexualization of various quest lines and relationships in Skyrim with an actual soul behind it....but even the CK requires user made patches to not be a gigantic mess and to be fair I don't want to get stuck maintaining a mod that large of scale for the rest of my life either. I have a handful of mods on the Nexus I've made (not bodyslides, actual mods) and even those I still get requests for "update for this/that" on.
If someone actually rebuilt Skyrim to competently use OStim or SL as part of its mechanics in a method that integrated at story level and had real purpose....it would be a mod they'd be stuck with for life. Its like how the guy that made Serana Dialogue Addon is now basically stuck with that for life.

Not true. Every animation from SL has been ported to Ostim SA including rape, gore, loli, and creature animations. It now has MORE animations than SL. What SL does have over it is more fetish related quest mods all of which can be converted to Ostim with that mod that swaps SL scenes with Ostim.

I have a thing for Tieflings from D&D that I haul into Skyrim. I use the Succubus Race mod, with a bunch of horns I added from ED Horns and a few other horn mods, and I edited the race to be a Tiefling race rather than Succubus and fixed the race stats to not be retarded like the Succubus race mod.
I guess I could have just made a Tiefling mod from the ground up, but the Succubus race mod already had more or less the entire framework there....I just needed to add HDPT records and change some race formlist stuff and voila....tiefling race. The race stats are pretty bog standard normal for ES games and true to D&D lore, small magical affinity, fire resistance, racial ability to briefly charm enemies. Nothing stupid or OP about it...just adding a non ES race to ES really.
Cool so theoretically it all should be working, but in reality it doesn't.
And its also very buggy and broken.

No Serana is still female. My character is a femboy...but mostly just pretty while still retaining a lot of masculine body structure/features....which isn't easy to do using 3BA but its worth the work.

Its not really about the gay.
Skyrim math on character choices is pretty easy, there are way more resources available for females than males to work with. There are a ton more armors, a lot of the better combat animations are built around faster more fluid female fitting animations....though there are some good sets for males too.
The overall Skyrim mod ecosystem favors female characters so I play female characters, but because I like Serana so much....I lean my character towards a very masc femboy look to use female content, while still being a male character.
And in games where I have Kaidan installed....sure I'm his girlfriend, its whatever. But Serana is still MY girlfriend so it works out.
I do have male characters too, they're just....I dunno, not as good, its harder to get a good character out of male assets.

It's really not recommended to install all those animations. I fap much more than your average anon and not even I have seen all the animations. The point being, any notion of Ostim not having as much positions as SL is silly. It has way more animations then you can ever handle.

There's Billyy Petite, Anub Shota, Anub Big Guy, all of which have been ported to Ostim SA. There's also an Ostim exclusive animation called OARE Size difference. He's even making a newer version of it for extra petite whatever the hell that means.
Pretty much every SL animation has been ported. If you find one that isn't ported just run Ostim Tools which will auto port it to Ostim. Though you'll have to go through the json file and configure things like dick position, orgasm, and tags stuff.

You can do something like this with Proteus but its a bit arcane and obtuse as mods go and takes a lot of time to work out the moving parts to make it function right. Effectively you can use Proteus to back up an entire character you've made, and then bring that character back into another game to play with you as a companion, but you can't hot swap between the characters while in session unfortunately. The way player save state records work in the Creation Engine just doesn't allow for that to be viable.

A lot of "waifu" modding posts will tell you to focus on stuff like Diamond, FSCS or Demoniac skins but all of these are specifically focused around easternized aesthetics and work best for eastern looking faces with insanely recessed/pointy chins. They're not good skins, FSCS was pretty good, and its the base that both Diamond and Demoniac use, but...the facial and body normals are very fake/plastic doll looking.
You can though use FSCS and then swap the head and body normals for a better set of normals that give more detail. Bijin or Reverie or BNP's would work.

If you're using the HPH head and Bijin you should be getting different results than that. I haven't used Bijin in ages but I got very different results with it. Attached is Bijin from like....2016. I mostly use either Reverie or BNP now.

Like a lot of mods, it's gotten bloated and feature crept with a good amount of meaningless fluff that's kinda dull at dull and actively annoying at worst.
But I still use it in most runs because collecting the shiny things and making the museum numbers go up tickles my brain.
You basically play Skyrim Indiana Jones. Lots of lore in the mod and plenty to find. Making Skyrim a collectathon really does inspire you to go out and get shit done, just to put it in your museum. It's also really comfy and has plenty to do. The player home is decent and as a personal up for me, the soundtrack that plays while in the museum is actually really good.
Pic related was my last playthrough.I suggest if you play it, you go full on with it's complimentary mods. I ran the Novus Ascending modlist, which just totally revamps it.

Skyland is by far the best overall texture overhaul for Skyrim whether you use parallax or not. Its got the best total overall quality without making the game look off in areas where it shouldn't. Pfuscher's Skyrim 2020 was like everyones go to for ages but the Whiterun wall textures are all wrong on it so I was never a fan. Noble wasn't too bad but Skyland AIO is just the best for total coverage and keeping in sync with Skyrims aesthetics while vastly improving them.
