Homura won by giving Madoka a normal life, which is a melancholic ending, but ultimately a "happy" one despite the demon imagery and dark tone that it uses to establish her goals as an "anti-god"

the problem with the madoka magica universe is that it leaves no room for side stories, the main series resolved everything, like sure you could havae stories about different magical girls but they'll never be as relevant as madoka and homura, when your main characters are god and satan then who cares about some side stories where some random person did something irrelevant
