Morrowind

I have a feeling that you and I are about to become... very close.

who's dick is going in who's ass, Fartgoth?

you have to make a literal concentrated effort to not sell things to remain poor in morrowind. that is all

Correct. If you are poor in Morrowind you worked hard to be that way.

At some point I just donated all of my stuff and money to the temple and became a pilgrim.

guys I think something is wrong with my copy of morrowind

Is Rolstonfag the only one or did the likes of Essayfag and the Romainian get their own?

Oh you modded it. I have no sympathy for self inflicted wounds.
Oh well, lesson learned.

i have no idea who rolstonfag or the essayfag are but here's one for the romanian redditor

its console commands, dummy. setscale is very useful for decorating but afaik there are instances where it can be reset.

Where is that turbo-giga jew I've heard about in Narsis?
I've been training for this moment, I have a lot of shit to sell and a silver tongue.

You have to admire the effort he puts in. I really wish he would do a wiki.
It would be like a Lovecraftian look into madness itself.

So you used console commands to modify the game?
Well at least it wasn't a modded game.

Trannywind

There's a mod that will pick up ingredients from nearby storage containers whenever you use an alchemy set so you don't have to keep them on you. Think it's called tabletop alchemy.

Just find a merchant with restocking ingredients. Find a pair of ingredients that create a potion.
Buy them. Then sell them back.
If the merchant had a stack of 4 for sale they now have a stack of 8 for sale. Repeat until you have a number you like.
You can now grind alchemy and become rich at the same time.

Are wood elves indians of elder scrolls?

Going by sanitation custom the Dunmer are.

No. Dunmer are Indians because the Tribunal religion's phony myths are Buddhist/Hindu/Gnostic.

dunmers
wood elves are japanese

not really and most of the races aren't 1:1 analogies for real life cultures, but dunmer religion, mythology and culture have lots of indian and hindu culture in it.

I don't know what ungodly low mercantile the people that were saying he was offering them 2 gold for ebony items had but I managed to clean him out with one glass dai-katana while getting high end alchemy tools in the process.
Guess I'm just built different.

No they're bastardized Sindarin with Eastern Woodlands Native American inspirations. The Tribunal Temple religion has Hindu inspiration but if any race were 'Indian' it would be the Khajiit, their caste system, the divide between North and South, etc..

short, eyes, savages, like trees

Good house mods for TR?

I wish there was a morrowind mod for knocking on doors like the skyrim one.

it's so bizarre to just be able to go into any random asshole's house and they don't care or do anything about it and just stare at you while you rummage through their stuff

Yeah, I could just NOT go into random people's houses... but what if there's a QUEST in there? Or LORE!?

makes more sense to just knock on the door and have a dialogue with the NPC that way I can very quickly learn to ignore the houses that are just there for fluff and don't have anything worthwhile going on

Room for a Thief

Khajits are clearly blacks

yeah the dunmer are more of a massive eurasian synthesis which also explains why they feel like most unique and original fully realized races in TES. khajiit language is very much romani as well further cementing their indian derivations

Was this the most advanced quest in morrowind?

yes lol. its sets the game up in a way that you think there will be more interesting quests like this with more advanced forms of scripting, but nope. its really downhill from here in terms of complexity, unfortunately.

with Eastern Woodlands Native American inspirations

Not a thing at all, literally just something a skyrimbab made up for that one meme image from 12 years ago
The Bosmer are just fantasy wood elves with a twist, nearly no emphasis is placed on their aesthetics, only on the fact that their religion dictates they must eat only meat, eat other intelligent beings, and have to make things out of bone and glass to make up for the fact they can't use wood to make anything. They have basically no parallels with any real life culture and trying to bluntly equate them with any is retarded

Nearly every fucking pagan culture in human history "liked trees" to more or less the same extent the Bosmer do nigger

to more or less the same extent the Bosmer do

*the Japanese do

Neargoth

caste system

They don't have a caste system. All Khajiit are Khajiit to Khajiit (except for the Mane who is the big important guy).
It's the other races that see the Elves, Cat-Men, and Housecats as different.

They tend to frontload the best they have to offer. Make a good first impression and you can mail it in in the later game.

not as japanese - depictions, cherry blossom, bonsai, woods of suicide, etc

Agreed, trying to say any real life race/culture is 1:1 with a TES race is retarded
A khajiit's place in society is predetermined by circumstances at birth, it's a caste system.

Khajit are one to one Jamaican.
Religion based on drugs.
Thieves.
Similar accent.

Orsimer

Are japanese because they have samurai armor in Morrowind and make super good quality steel that's unbreakable

Altmer

Are japanese because they have yellow skin and live on an island and think they're better than everybody else

Dunmer

Are japanese because they live on an island and have japanese weapons in morrowind and think they're better than everybody else

Khajiit

Are japanese because they're named after kenjutsu (it's true, look it up) and are really into martial arts and are kawaii, many of them are also very short

Argonians

Are japanese because they're weird and collectivist and bug-like and really like trees

Redguards

Their most significant lore character is literally named "Gaiden Shinji" and they're like super good with swords, literally the most japanese of them all

Imperials

Are japanese because they use katanas and samurai armor and stuff and are short

Bretons

Are short, therefore japanese

Nords

Blonde (like Naruto), really like lightning and wind (japanese culture look up raijin and fujin). Obviously japanese.

cherry blossom, bonsai, woods of suicide, etc

bosmer don't have any of those things though

One of the first things we learn about the Khajiit forms is that they're all equal and only the Mane is in a higher "tier" in society than all the others.

The map size makes sense now.

lol that was me, the ebony bow might have also been damaged and thats why he was jewing me, I didn't check but it was really funny

Is there any reason to use bows over crossbows?
The high end damage is comparable and the low end blows pretty much every other weapon in the game out of the water, they fire at basically the same speed.

A khajiit's place in society is predetermined by circumstances at birth

Where the hell did you get that idea?

The Lunar Lattice...?

Like any marksman user you should be using dwemer darts.

name one thing he did wrong

died like a bitch

Having autism, leading to a suicide-by-Nerevar.
Or do you mean after he returned?

I know the moons control their form, fucko. I'm asking where you got the idea their form determined their place in society.
They outright say they don't discriminate in ESO where the vast, vast majority of furstock lore comes from.

"And Azurah in her wisdom made them of many shapes, one for every purpose. And Azurah named them Khajiit and told them her Second Secret and taught them the value of secrets. And Azurah bound the new Khajiit to the Lunar Lattice, as is proper for Nirni's secret defenders."

en.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Words_of_Clan_Mother_Ahnissi

"...of many shapes, one for every purpose" sounds an awful lot like caste system to me.

Sperged out at Nerevar instead of just sticking by his bro's side.
Voryn could have saved him.

From PGE1

Over twenty forms have been documented among the catmen of Elsweyr, and, in their own society at least, no one of them is more important or inherently better than another (with the exception of the Mane form, to be described shortly).

It's a society divided more by city dweller/tribesmen than a caste society

Until relatively recently, the nearly constant insurrection and tribal warfare among the catmen rarely troubled the stage of history. In CE309, however, Keirgo of Anequina and Eshita of Pellitine combined their long-feuding kingdoms to create Elsweyr, sparking a great class struggle that briefly threatened to draw in outside intervention. Power shifted from two separate kingdoms, each with its own central government and allied tribes, to a nobility besieged by those tribes, who felt that both their ruling classes had betrayed them.

Peace was restored, however when the normally nonpartisan khajiit spiritual leader, the Mane Rid-T'har-ri'Datta, "bestowed to the classes equality under the bi-lunar shadow, dividing their power in accordance with two-moons-dance of the ja-K'hanay". What this established, in a more understandable sense, was a rotational power base in which both sides of khajiit society, the city-dwellers under the nobility and the nomadic tribes of the desert chieftains, shared alternate control of the region based on the phases of Masser and Secunda; the terms of this measure, the Riddle-T'har, were overseen by the thinly-veiled dictatorship of the Mane himself.

ESO

well there's your problem "fucko"

Mhulabi.jpg - 576x608, 460.58K

ESO where the vast, vast majority of furstock lore comes from.

Actually, the vast majority of furstock lore comes from the Pocket Guide to the Empire and Interview with Three Booksellers, ESO takes all its furstock lore from those 2 sources and adds pretty much nothing beyond retconning the Pahmar from quadrupedal tigers to bipedal tigers

That includes your bit about them being equal, that's actually from the Pocket Guide

also needs a mod where they actually go to bed

Redguard is on sale. Might pick it up just because it's the flashpoint for modern Elder Scrolls but I've heard nothing good about it outside of that.

why is Master Aryon so fucking based?

somehow wasting thousands of years inside a mountain and barely achieving anything. hadn't even finished the mold and skeleton for the numidium

I honestly can't believe they still have the gall to charge money for it

He bullied the Tribunal and cost them the Tools when they dropped by to suck some heart juice. That's something at least.

mods are funny
found this underground "manor" house in seyda neen. it seems like its supposed to be a player house but these oc donut steeles don't leave after you do the quest to kill ghosts in it.
its apparently part of some dudes vampire clan faction mod which in turn was taken from some woman who made this house in 2012 and disappeared.

Why did she do it?
Why did she kill him?

stacies hate nerds

He was already dead when she disfigured his corpse.

Fact check: it’s all true

why'd he let a woman kill him?

He just is
I like the mod that lets you do the main quest with him, nationalist nerevarine

Imagine you're Azura, just stick with me here, imagine you're Azura, right? And some shit starts getting all goofy with one of your two pet races so one of them, your favorite of them at the moment because he's really devout, calls you up and is all like "Hey, Mommy, what should I do with this dwarf magic stuff?". And you say, "Don't try to make yourself a god or I'll be very disappointed." and him and his friends promise to not do it. And then his friends kill him and make themselves gods. So, you do the reasonable thing and curse their entire race while tossing the dead guy's soul at Mundus over and over again waiting for him to manage to get revenge against the three who thumbed their noses at you.
That's Almalexia. She's Azura but mortal: a petty and extremely powerful bitch who gets pissy if she's not treated like the Godhead's gift to the worlds. Sotha Sil locking himself away and leaving her to run the province was the equivalent to her that the Tribunal being naughty was to Azura.
It's the exact same thought process: "He thinks he's fucking better than me? I'll show him! I'm the true goddess!"

The werewolves in the maze at the end of Bloodmoon were obscene.

At least the have a in-game reason to be as strong as they are. Still kinda bullshit.
I'm more upset at the sewer goblins under Mournhold.

Isn't Boethia Almalexia's anticipation, though

when nerevar is reincarnated as a hoarder

Woman moment.

Pissed me off. Fucked Around Found Out.

Nta, but at least you can kite the goblins and exploit their attack animations.
Werewolves are just way too fast, at least, from what I remember.

Now that you mention it this does seem pretty silly.
Dagoth Ur's lair was the heart (lol) of Dwemer influence in the east.
He's surrounded by a wealth of blueprints, foundries, workshops and vast repositories of Dwarven metal. Considering how quickly Kagrenac's engineers built the first Numidium you'd think Dagoth would be further along since waking up 400 years ago...

Do I need more than one weapon skill if I go blunt?

Cadence is similar with a slower beat.

Super quick and resisting every kind of magic. The non-maze ones were at least able to be paralyzed.

What's that old war horse Barenziah up to by Skyrim? She looked kind of old in Morrowind but she looked young and hot in Daggerfall so I don't know if she lived that long

weren't Vivec and co. still regularly murdering him once every couple years up until shortly before Morrowind's events though

probably dead. don't think she would have been able to escape in time

You've got it backwards, and the anticipation shit means nothing. It is literally just nonsense Tribunal propaganda to make it easier for them to take the place of the three Good Daedra.
Like what does it even mean for Azura to be the "Anticipation of Sotha Sil"? It's literally meaningless gibberish to associate themselves with the true gods of the Chimer.

She didn't. Bitch got put to the knife for her part in the plan to assassinate me.

That isn't Canon.

What game has she been heard from after Morrowind? Bitch is ded.

Nta, but at least you can kite the goblins and exploit their attack animations.

If we are talking about using exploits to render the challenge void, just jump. It's not like you need to kill the werewolves.
But the werewolves are there for the Bloodmoon, they're huffing Daedra fumes and posing as a challenge for your Hunt. The goblins are supposed to be shitty sewer goblins, just using weapons stronger than a daedric counterpart because lol lmao scaling.

Nothing resists a good blunt strike anon

Her descendant is Karliah, but I assume the old bat is dead

You never ever need more than one melee skill unless you want to LARP as a versatile warrior.
Only exception is unarmed, where it could be useful to have it alongside a weapon skill since they have different roles.

ESOfag takes pride in some bit of lore "from ESO"

it's either complete shit if it's actually from ESO or just some PGE/Kirkbride text/in-game book thing ported over if it's good

Ashlander propaganda

How exactly did the Tribunal get away with implanting themselves into creation myths in the first era while having the entire race buy into it?
Like, they walked into a mountain, walked out super powerful and shit, then told everyone they've always worshipped them.

ask the north koreans

They've had thousands of years to ease the Dunmer into the crazy stuff.
I imagine they started small with just declaring themselves new gods before starting on the hardcore indoctrination.

They didn't though? The Dunmer are taught about how they used to worship the 3 good Daedra and that the Tribunal were regular chimer before ascending to godhood

Ehm... The Good Daedra? They were Anticipations of what was to come!
Now stop asking questions, we can do powerful magic 'n' sheeit.

Buckle up, muthseras!
It's shake-down-Fargoth-for-gold day again!

Some of the 36 Lessons say "Chimer and Dwemer lived under the wise and benevolent rule of the AMLSIVI(sic}".
There's but there's nothing else that references the Anticipations specifically as ALMSIVI to my knowledge.

Morrowind graphics and sounds overhaul
It's very dated and a meme

Because for the most part the Tribunal had consent of the people. Chimeri culture was and still is based on ascension through overcoming mortal hardship (Lorkhan's Test) and to the everyman ALMSIVI were a living example of this. They didn't replace the existing cultural beliefs with something new, just put themselves at the forefront.

my progenitor...

The Anticipations (the book) is specifically about that.
Not sure if there's more, but I suspect a very large amount of (early) books may have simply been destroyed and/or banned because they may have had some wrongthink in them.

No, Khajits are the indian, they even speak like them

Dragonbreaks literally rewrite history
Talos wasn't actually a god until the end of daggerfall, and then he "always" had been
Orcs were little more than slavering monsters until the end of daggerfall, now they "always" have been mer
Akatosh and Auriel were the same god until that damn monkey caused a dragonbreak, and now they've "always" been separate

Morrowind captures a feeling and gameplay style which is entirely unique, even to this day: mastery over a lived-in world.
I know there are people (faggots) who hate the city of Vivec, but one of my favorite experiences in all of gaming is going from an overwhelmed newcomer arriving at Vivec, to someone who knows all of its nooks and crannies and can quickly navigate it's bizarre, confusing, unintuitive layout. No other game that I've played offers that, not even Bethesda's later entries. No one is getting lost in fucking Whiterun.
That's why the release of Narsis has been the best thing to happen in video games for me in years. It recaptures that feeling of learning Vivec all over again, with an even more dense and well put together city. I love this game and TR.

Akatosh and Auriel are still the same god, just a canonically insane and unstable one with split personalities.

There was no dragonbreak involved in the Tribunal's ascension and Orcs were their own people with their own sophisticated culture and language in Daggerfall.

Vivec isn't bad because it's too big and easy to get lost in; Vivec isn't even bad because it's poorly laid-out. Vivec is bad because it isn't dense enough. There aren't enough NPCs. Every Canton is a monolithic, identical bloc rising from the water, with massive exteriors concealing weirdly-tiny, narrow interiors that NPCs keep getting stuck in. Vivec is bad because the designers had a clear vision for the city they wanted to achieve, were unable to achieve it on contemporary hardware, and then compromised with reality in the worst possible way.

There might have been a dragonbreak when the Dwemer activated Numidium during the Battle of Red Mountain but not when the Tribunal stole the power of the heart.

The Battle of Red Mountain was a dragonbreak thanks to Numidium's activation by the Dwemer
Yeah, technically, I guess I should said they were "always" split

I added a mod that removes pauses from menus and dialogue and it fixes SO MANY THINGS

no fortify for 1 second cheese

no pause and chug trivializing combat

can't just open menu and steal everything in sight to subvert stealth mechanics

throw in quickloot to make pickpocketing possible and you've fixed so many broken, cheesy systems across the board

the sneed of secunda

You'll probably die of any one poison, but eventually become immune to diseases.
The positives are exceptionally good if you can deal with poison.

Shit that's a good idea

Seems quite strong. What enemy uses poison and the diseases can be cured.

yeah the skywind guys' concept art is similar to the concept art for morrowind proper and you can tell this is capturing the splendor of the city much more

is this a fair trade off?

It's like having a footrace with a toddler so to give him a chance you put your arm behind you back.
No, it's not a fair trade off and you are going to break the game over your knee.

Sometimes it feels like Dragon Breaks are just "we don't want to write around this" excuses

The thing is hardly anything works in Morrowind so when you cheese it is only fair

no market stalls along the streets

Shame.
The BCOM version is also good, and it's actually playable.

And they killed the ones who said no, people tend to omit that part

Thats literally what they are

I particularly admire the conceit of the Dragon-Break, which I think was Kirkbride's scheme, probably collaborative with Kurt Kuhlmann, who was his passionate partner in design thought crimes. What a wonderful designer response to the criminally irresponsible design scheme of having Daggerfall's multiple endings in an epic heroic fantasy setting certain to be followed by sequels. -Ken Rolston

Dragon Breaks, CHIM, mantling, and all that are more a "fans make things up to make things fit the way they think it should" thing.
TES fans love insisting their headcanon is real canon. Never forget that the whole thing about Thalmor wanting to destroy towers was entirely made up by one guy editing a wiki.

i assume they will be littering the streets with that eventually. they showed it off a few years ago and it does look really good imo, but still needs that bustling open market feel that you mentioned, for sure.
youtube.com/watch?v=fjipzQdXk8Q

i assume they will be littering the streets with that eventually

Skyrim engine can't handle it. Maybe a couple of stalls, but even then it's already a big city so I wonder how poor the performances will be.

To be fair your headcanon is canon to your game.
The trouble they run into is thinking their headcanon matters outside their game.

Dragon Breaks are nowhere near on the same tier as CHIM or mantling you retard, they're not vague concepts name dropped once in-game then defined entirely outside of it, there's an entire fucking in-game book dedicated to describing exactly what a Dragon Break is

I have a feeling that you and I are about to become... very close.

file.png - 896x808, 590.91K

what would the people of vvardenfell think if they found your characters journal after the main quest?

God I love conjuration

what the fuck did you do to todd's beautiful game

I'm not saying they aren't in the game, dumbass. I'm very aware it was invented and used once to make all of Daggerfalls endings canon.
I'm saying the fans use all those things inappropriately to explain away everything in a way that fits their headcanon.

anon I think your character is having a stroke

Haha so anyway what happened to the main character of Daggerfall

Is the lack of mana

It's clearly manufactured propaganda to make the Nerevarine look bad! Wake up people, the Tribunal Temple used to persecute the Nerevarine before he saved us all!

Is that Sloads and Slavers mod?

Summoning a strong meatshield and shooting spells/arrows from behind is so safe and efficient it's unfair.

he built a casino with nine-holes and wenches

Yes They also work as the scamp merchant

He may have given her the ick.

There aren't enough NPCs.

The engine is fucked, when I use mods that add like 10 npcs to an area I get 10-30 fps instead of 120+ fps.

the canon Nerevarine is female

images (71).jpg - 180x280, 6.13K

Summoning 2 dremoras will wreck most enemies. The stats are pretty strong (depending on how you play). The only problem is the -poison, but I doubt that's much of a problem. So yes it's imba.

No matter what, Vivec is unfixable

can we get a mod that adds some of quan millz literary works?

Why the fuck there is no any bard mod in Skyrim like this?

SKSE isn't nearly as intensely in depth as MWSE-Lua

Is there any way for the player character to use Vivec/Almalexia's idle animations?

SKSE isn't nearly as intensely in depth as MWSE-Lua

Damm

time to reacquaint your face with my fist, boy

MWSE-Lua is obscenely crazy for a script extender. The stuff we're doing is stuff early modders only dreamed about, long ago.

What happens when Absorb Health/Attributes is reflected? Does my character give the enemy extra health/stats?

It makes you gay

I just replayed skyrim a few days ago after playing through oblivion remastered when it launched. I want to play morrowind again but I don't want to burn myself out on elder scrolls games

isnt that basically every elder scrolls game? pic related is 2 main quests into Oblivion

that's OpenMW lua anyway

"morrowind is easy to mo-"

requires tes3merge

merge leveled lists

Not doing that. Going back to New Vegas.

Went ahead and tested it. I checked a Dremora's stats using the console.
Yep, the reverse happens in both times. The Dremora was healed and had its strength boosted when my magic got reflected.

jesus christ sometimes it just hits me how fucking atrocious oblivion is stylistically.

I've never done any of those things

Ok enjoy your FNVLodGen then I wish there was lod gen for openmw

download OpenMW

download and unzip mod into folder for mods

add mod to load list in launcher

^ my process for modding Morrowind
what are you downloading that you need to merge?

I like how the game casually drops assassins on you with armors that are worth more than most merchants can afford

i think absorb health can't be reflected if its on touch

Don't even know what that is

You just put it in the Morrowind directory and run it, how fucking retarded are you?

I actually can't play NV right now because TTW, the LOD resources, or LODgen is broken and rocks are fucked up.
OAAB integrations says I have to do those.

What mods are you trying to use? I don't remember ever bothering with leveled list conflicts in Morrowind.
In fact, I do know what that is because I had so many conflicts while modding NV.

heh as much of a hoarder as i am in this game i always end up selling a couple sets of dark brotherhood assassin armor for some quick cash. these two gents were my first from that file and theyve stuck with me for quite some time.

Nope, the spells I used were On Touch.

go to openmw website

pick modlist

auto download said list

play

wow

You should be merging

Why? That would probably break everything that works.

The modlist also do a merge at the end

the openmw automatic modlist tools do that already

thanks
I think I like it better than the other pack from nexus since it's a bit more understated

Morrowind has been extremely easy to mod and still have to see a single crash even with sessions of more than 5 hours, hell Daggerfall was a 50/50 each time I tried to enter into a dungeon, Skyrim is his own can of worms, Oblivion easily the worse one to mod and considering that both Fallout 3 and New Vegas are closer to Oblivion than anything else I can see these also being a hellish experience with crashes every 30 minutes

I think you don't need premium to download it, but it helps with the download speed

have friend who plays modded FO:NV

see him relaunch it every 20 minutes

yeah that's pretty much how it is

I hate to be that guy, but Oblivion is the easiest to run and mod. Game just werks on my machine. Literally just pop the disc in, run the installer and get a no CD .exe and the game runs perfect in Windows 11. Only crashes I ever get are when I alt + tab on the title screen.

lmao welcome to morrowind. It doesn't hold your hand and many people love that.
Skill levels are very important. Any weapon skill below 30 or 35 is total trash, so if that's your problem, restart and create a character with focused stats. Check the bonus stats each race gets and pick a weapon from that list.

Last time I modded NV I crashed twice in 50 hours and it was my fault both times for fucking around.
How do he manage to make the game less stable than unmodded?

You are hitting them with the wrong tools, check your stats if you have 5 points in axe you aren't going to hit a rat in a long long time

Someone with the expanded vanilla mod list upload a torrent or mega or googledrive or something of the files.

this mod that adds shit to the leveled lists needs the leveled lists merged

Please don't tell me you don't do that for your NV mods, all bethesda games need patches or a merge for your multiple level list additions and mod changes to work
Otherwise you are literally missing content from your mods if a later mod overwrites the same thing

Every level list addition mod in New Vegas is plug and play.

Anon the problem is that the installer also configures the entire thing to your PC, so even if you downloaded the files you would need to change the path of each file manually in the openmw.cfg, and at that point is just better to download the mods individually, a big contra in my opinion since it makes sharing custom list extremely hard

That is easily fixed by changing a couple lines in a text file, you luddite.

fuck, I meant "isn't"
time for bed

Forwarding edits is not merging leveled lists.

Morrowind's UI is complete soul. I love it so much

It is if you're forwarding leveled list changes
Otherwise the leveled lists get overwritten
NV is not the only Bethesda game that doesn't need leveled list merging; even Skyrim still needs it

You have no idea what you're talking about and can't type in English.

I know exactly what I'm talking about. What, do you think the leveled lists magically merge at runtime or something? They don't.
If you have two mods that edit the same leveled list, one will be overwritten unless you get a patch or merge it yourself.

i do too anon

Oblivion became a breeze for me to mod simply using Wrye bash instead

OpenMW can't do fishing but it can do bards with in game songwriting?

It can do fishing but you need somebody who wants to make such mod or port the one already in MWE

It can do fishing, no one has made a mod for it yet

Wealth beyond measure, outlander.

You people are not real fucking people. You people need to fuck off and give me back my Morrowind threads. No i will never install your shitty fucking mods. Kill yourselves.

why can't mwse fags just let go

I have it but that mod was made before 0.49 and that shit has changed everything regarding opewnm modding

sounds like you've been a victim of grooming my friend. you mustve been 'very mature for your age' KEK

Khajiit philosophy is just weird. They also think all the horrid daedric princes should exist because well someone has to be the god of rape

I really fucking appreciate I learned how to mod with Tiberian Sun and Morrowind because it forced me to actually learn how to think critically and solve problems

the navmesh thing is pretty intimidating desu

In the openwm launcher, go to Data Files, Navigation Mesh Cache and click update and that's it, nothing else

It's so much easier nowadays. With virtual folders and Mod Organizer telling you what's being overwritten in detail - all those headaches because of dumb mistakes or wrong overwrites don't even exist anymore.
Heck, early Skyrim modding was still like that. You needed to install 2 or 3 mods at a time and test. Oops, a problem? Wipe the folder and start over from a backup.

You needed to install 2 or 3 mods at a time and test

tfw you install a dozen really minor mods thinking "none of these could possibly cause a problem they're too small" then boot the game and realize you have to go back through with a fine toothed comb and figure out which fucking innocuous nothing mod is causing the bizarre inexplicable error

Same anon, I just installed a mod organizer and wrye mash and all that for the first time and I'm feeling breddy gud, I can't wait to try out Ashfall

Question for lorebeards, I am doing a playthrough as a member of the Tribunal Temple and House Redoran. For RP purposes are there any restrictions on food or alcohol in the Tribunal religion? I was thinking of avoiding liquor but I don't know if that's even lore-friendly, the only food restriction I can think of is the Ash Fowl from the notice in Arrille's Tradehouse. pic unrel

install mod

it's packaged in a retarded way and you paste it into Data Files and think it's fine and you don't realize it for a long time

fug :DDD
or

go to install mod

it's just some loose meshes and the readme doesn't tell you which subfolder they go in

FUG :DDD

does anyone have the star trek mods?

That fucking windchime mod

New Vegas PTSD

Old Framedropheart...
...Home..

Akuband

Holy shit this is ass

I get that Skyrim, Oblivion and TESO are the devils and all but is there a specific reason not to adhere to their troll design

hmm this mod that inserts a single helmet cannot possibly cause any problems

retarded modder decided to place it on every guard, bandit and shop's leveled lists forever because of course he does

If you have never completed Morrowind with NO mods, 100% vanilla, you're a poser and can't talk about the game.

Bros, I finally found a shack to live in
The owner's not there and it has a killer view

Nevermind figured it out

I've never "completed" Morrowind ever, and I don't need to. It's not that kind of game.

@ me as much as you FUCKING want, I will enjoy my side quests and random dungeons forever and literally never do the main quest, cope and seethe.

i.jpg - 480x270, 22.69K

Based levelling autist

Nexus is down

So with the Kingdom of Anvil do I support the coup or support the queen?

The troll design didn't get standardized until Oblivion that's why Arena, Redguard, (Daggerfall didn't have trolls) and Morrowind are different

I agree, only because the base game is so easy that you have to be a complete moron to fail this easy task.
Make sure to play it on a 2000-2001 era machine as well or it won't count.

cum nerevar
cum
cum to me
through fire and war

All good as long as no mods.

What enemy uses poison

these fuckers

I did back in like 2006

Pathetic and as retarded as mods.
It's not about its difficulty, it's about enjoying the experience for what it originally was.

Jesus wept, my sides.

My ancestor....

i don't understand
he's just no clipping through shit, you can't call that beating the game
just open the console and type tgm, boom game is beaten. way faster than all that bullshit

Where's that?

stay mad schizoautist retard

a poser is one that cares about that kind of thing deeply and i would argue that you are the one missing out on what morrowind is all about if you harbour such an opinion

Northwest of Bodrum which is northwest of St. Felms, up in the mountains if you want to search around and find it yourself, here's another angle. I'll post the name of the shack and an actual map image in the next post

Narsis is un-fucking-believable.
The most mind boggling part about TR is how literally none of it feels mod-y. Even the old Telvanni areas still have a vanilla feeling to them.

There's Star Trek mods?

And here's the actual info about the shack if you don't care about exploring

Be told to fuck off for trying to talk to people

Holy fuuuuuck

There's everything mods.

1_2.jpg - 1280x800, 190.44K

I don't want to jinx it but yeah, TR has been a blessing. One of my biggest wishes is to see their take on House Redoran and Dres lands, that shit would be so tight.

I just think the max magicka you're allowed to have is way too low

One of my biggest wishes is to see their take on House Redoran

this is an old concept of Blacklight

Thanks bro, I'll check that out. Seems like a nice place to shack.

Do bretons actually follow the divines too

is there anything that can be done about that sort of draw distance mismatching with the sky? i have the same issue at night.

I respect the orcish mindset, apart from wanting to die at 30 and following a demon that doesn't want them to be actually strong

OK.

wdym, that's just a slightly less ape-like modern TES troll, if anything it's surprising they didn't go with the Redguard design the way they did with ogres

KEK

skyrim is the call of duty of elder scrolls

well yeah it's an action game

can't believe chuds brought down nexus on the first day of pride month

No lol. There's nothing that compares to Skyrim and it's base flaws are easily fixed with lightweight config mods. Even ordinator is extremely powerful alone.

daggerfall is the dark souls of skyrim games

If you only beat the main quest but didn't do every guild, every great house, every faction, every daedric quest, get 100 all skills, both expansions? You did NOT beat the game and I'm being 100% serious. I did this in Skyrim and oblivion. I have not yet beaten Morrowind.

A few of the TR devs are making a side project
to make Vivec feel more like an actual city integrated with the mainland, hopefully it comes to fruition

vivecrebuilt.png - 1129x806, 1.82M

Yeah, I agree. I've yet to beat the main Morrowind quest, desu. Doing my own thing's just waaay too fuKKKing fun. My point is mods are a no-no. Also, it's not really possible to 100% every faction in one playthrough since you can only join one house.

I like how Dagoth is just clipped through the floor

Where's his place gonna be then

At the northern end of the city apparently, so he can be facing Red Mountain

Kind of a hot take but I dislike it. I think they could do better.

But he's already facing red mountain. He's in the south but when you walk in he's facing you, so he faces north.

screw this

tcl

I could not bear to look at that shit Nerevar. I mustered the power of the Heart right then and there, opened the console and typed "tcl" just to clip my face into the floor so I didn't have to see that shit. She cut off your feet, Nerevar. She was holding them like two ice cream cones. What a crazy bitch.

Fargoth if he real

Fargoth now.png - 1440x900, 3.71M

I am become Hulk, jumper of ashlands

dies of fall damage

People who enjoy good games like Skyrim mindbroke you. Hard.

What would be a good way to RP a "Nosferatu" style playthrough, aside from actually becoming a vampire?
There's a slave start on the CharGen mod, I was thinking an escaped slave turned radical guerilla abolitionist. I'm already intending to do an exploration only playthrough so that might be a nice wrinkle to add in.

tfw a flying Vampire with 130 acrobatics (125 makes you completely immune to fall damage)

cast slow fall when close to ground

aside from actually becoming a vampire

if its the general unplayability of actually being a vampire keeping you away, and you have TR, just get Namira's Shroud from Tholas' vault in Bal Foyen

he's just no clipping

stoopid

Almalexia: "SOTHA I'M GOING TO LOSE MY DIVINITY DO SOME MAGIC SHIT AND FIX IT"

Sotha is not even listening to her while autistically playing with his LEGO city

Almalexia: "REEEEEEEEEEE"

Woman moment

He was a nerd and probably an incel, Stacylexia couldn't just leave him be

anon he was fucking robots, she couldn't abide that she'd been replaced by robots designed to perfectly replicate the texture and warmth of Nord twink butthole

Indians are pointedly not featured in the elder scrolls, the indian pov is to be an observer

wood elves are slavs

i installed this game last night + openMW. What arer some other must have mods for it?

At the very least get these 2 patches
modding-openmw.com/lists/i-heart-vanilla/#i-heart-vanilla-patches
and maybe expansion delay
Other than that just install what seems good to you, but the vanilla game is fine as it is
People will tell you to at least finish the base game before jumping into Tamriel Rebuilt but tbdesu just play what appeals to you more
