There's a lot of experiments like that, the experiments and normal Lilo and Stitch stuff were the weakest parts of the show to me, it was essentially Pokemon with a L&S coat of paint over it. I get what you’re saying, but Lilo & Stitch was one of the few franchises where the series actually mattered tonally and thematically. Unlike the Aladdin or Pocahontas sequels which were straight to VHS filler, the L&S series actually expanded the universe with structure—Jumba's experiments, character development for Gantu and Reuben, etc. Treating all of that as non-canon just to cram in a modern Disney checklist ending kinda neuters the weird charm the original creators cultivated.
