I don't think there is Capeshit fatigue. Marvel just shat out so much garbage in quick succession that were so bad even normies are fed up with it. And DC/WB never had its shit together to begin with. D&W and GOTG3 did well. For gaming Marvel Rivals had great first few months before it became obvious that the devs just struck gold and have no clue what they are doing. GOTG game was well received too although it didn't succeed financially.
So, I think recent cancellations are more about: global economic downturn, Blackrock gibs drying up, royalties costing too much, AAA gaming being about to implode (unsustainable budgets, long dev cycle, and mentally ill california culture) and desperate to save money at last second than capeshit fatigue. A lot of non capeshit shit got the axe too.
