Splatoon 3 and Bioshock 1 on my Switch V1
South Park Fractured But Whole
Not sure, was thinking of emulating something. RPG recs lads?
Still building my retro archive, but I’ve been playing Fallout 3 for giggles after buying the GOTY edition for $3. Also picked up Portal and Portal 2 for $2 a piece, hoping to play co-op with my wife. I’m not here to console war, but the Deck really has brought joy back to gaming for me. I never really liked my Switch, overall.
ffxiv works surprisingly well on steam deck, been doing my dalies and catching up on EW raids with it
Lots of WEGs and Japanese porn games.
Also, Vermintide 2 with friends.
I've been leveling Machinist in FFXIV and playing a lot of Persona 5 Royal on my Ally X running SteamOS Beta.
I'm playing Tigger's Honey Hunt for PS1 on my smartphone, with a telescopic controller, a BSP D6 to be exact.
based fellow alisaie fan
You're god damn right
is psp still a thing? i'm thinking about buying one
It is.
Modding one is easy as shit and you can load a fuck ton of roms onto it: pspunk.com
E33 and SB demo. Already finished the demo and not sure if doing NG+ on E33 or play something else while I wait for SB
Black Mesa
Expedition Tits McGee

I've been playing WoW with the console port plugin. Is FFXIV's controller support better?
MGS V
nuSuper Mario ohh R P G. Emulates good on the 'eck
Super Robot Wars 30. Gotta get it finished before Y comes out.
Bloodborne.
Dicey Dungeon
won't lie I thought it was pretty bullshit at first but luckily I unlocked a few characters and experimented with some different stuff and realized there's a bit of strategy to balance out the RNG and it is actually pretty damn fun
Yes, it's still a great handheld. You will need to get a new battery if you get a PSP 1000, 2000 or 3000. My Go's battery still works fine though. There is a specific battery that's good, I can't recall the brand right now but it's easy to google. You will also want a Memory Stick Pro Duo-to-micro SD adapter. They're cheap and you can grab one off of Amazon. That's really all you need.
Emulating Viewtiful Joe. Very satisfying.
Nothing because the deck can't play games at 60fps.
Do Steamies really only play indie games at 40fps cope framerate?
Steam deck is garbage
I am going to buy a phat og, and load up my old monster hunter game i have. I miss my psp it served me well.
Finished Nine Sols and Xenoblade X DE. I tried Expedition 33 but it looks like complete shit on Steam Deck. Don't really know what to play next.
PS4 emulation
How's the performance and stability on handhelds?
Are there any good PS4-exclusive games? Last console I had was a PSP so I've no idea what's happening on consoles.
Mine still works. Never had a battery replacement, but the battery life is still great.
However, I'm not sure I'd buy it now. There's a few $100-$220 handhelds which can run PSP emulators in addition to a bunch of other consoles. Most of them are Android handhelds, but a bunch support a Linux system too. PSP is just too limited.
You lost.
DMC3 with the crimson mod. Feels like a brand new game.
Playing Dragon Quest 11 and having a blast on the deck
Pokémon Black v2 on my resurrected 2ds XL because fuck Switch 2.
Indiana Jones and Stellar Blade. The former feels like it was made to be played on a handheld as weird as that sounds. The animations on desktop even on ultra 100+ fps look choppy, so when you play it at 30 everything just blends. The textures also look a lot better than Stellar Blade even on lowest settings.
Holy based! Not that Nintendo would ever do anything as cool as supporting DS emulation.
Anything with a 6800u should handle shadps4 fine, I was showing the network card on my win 4(7840u) off, no streaming. If it can handle bloldborne or the ps4 emu in general I'd say it csn handle pretty much everything.
Ps3 performsnce is better. I can play all the games i have, uncharted 3, motorstorm, goldeneye reloaded, killzone 2, locoroco thanks to motion control built in too. Battery is so so because its x86 processing so you get gobs of power but you'll have to find a sweet spot for battery tweaking. I mainly get 3 hours out of mine but I also dont run games at 30w max settings either.
My battery for my Switch finally died when I was playing Bakeru, so I need to get a new battery and repair it. In the meantime, I'm playing some Buckshot Roulette on my Steam Deck. Are there any solid guides for modding games on the Deck? I want to get into modding.
The older I get, the less appeal handheld games have to me. Ive owned a switch and a Steam Deck but probably have a collective 20 hrs of play time with both of them.
What are ya playan'?
Fire Emblem Three Houses
Deck 2 when?
1+ years since valve is skipping the latest line of amd shit.
You dont want it before UDNA. Maybe UDNA+ for the battery improvements. Then again just going with Nvidia to improve its Linux compatibility would be a very Valve thing to do.
Playan Halo Wars on my GPD Win 3, because I was craving a RTS. Wish this China shit had trackpads like the deck.
Next I'm replaying FE Awakening. Unsure whether to use my 3ds or this.
But it would also be arm. That's a bad move.
Onimusha 2 at bed instead of sleeping (it's 5am)
1-2 years.
Either they pull an OLED and surprise drop it in the last quarter of the year or it comes out 2026. One of the two.
