2bh, after the mobile game... my expectations aren't high anymore. And the nier remaster made me realise that... original nier sucks ass. The story was ok, but the gameplay was a bit ... meh. Going through levels seemed way more repetitive and I didn't like the look of a lot of them.

Comparing things like the desert areas of Nier to Nier Auto ... it's like they're different games with how they look and feel. Nier seems way more generic.
I just hope they aim for something that felt a bit more like Nier Auto.

Felt samey to me honestly, the combat as a whole doesn't feel all that special to me though admittedly it's been years since I last played both Automata and Replicant, I like the games moreso for the story and imo Replicant does it WAY more better

Looking at f's trailer, seeing a lot of hinamizawa vibes... hmm.

It gets repetitive after route C but that's mostly because you'll have to grind a lot of money to unlock route D, and by then you're just playing for the /BANTZ/, core game is good enough to mindlessly swipe through the batlefield while listening Zero's harem talk shit about eachothers and about Zero herself.
I'd say the peak of the gameplay challenge is the fight against Gabriel at the end of route A because that fucker hits like a truck and he's massive

I wish that other parts of the industry were putting out things worth looking forward to as much as you do, trust me. Gacha ALWAYS takes growth that should be handled by playing the game and shoves it into the gacha system, e.g. whereas you might unlock a mech class in a proper game and then upgrade it in the later parts, you have to roll for a mech character here, and that mech character will eventually be outclassed by a later mech character who you also have to roll for.
