I find .flow to be smaller and more constrained than YN but that's not a complaint as much as an observation. I think it's easier to get around and feel like you're getting somewhere in .flow, which might make it better for some. It's a choice YN fangame either way.

I dreamt of a giant stone pool in the middle of a forest, filled with blue water
The other visitors were mostly bug people
Humanoid dragonfly larvae, to be specific
Despite their creepy looks they were rather nice

After playing around in those pools, I walked somewhere else, and eventually stepped into this giant Mansion-Theater-Colosseum interobject, where every single "room" was made of curtains, and everything was arranged in a "stairway spiral" structure
It was right in the middle of a talent show
Every room had a dedicated "act", and most of the contestants were "totally not Inklings", who danced and singed every time it was their turn

After spending a few hours in there, I started to walk away again, and, after travelling across this giantized version of my local park, I reached this distorted version of my own house, where it started to rain inside, after I witnessed this weird chemical reaction inside of a water container, after I threw a spoon inside of it
And then I woke up

I thought it was ok after the update, Before it was just a shitty limbo type clone. I thought some of the areas were interesting but it leaned too much into horror with the fucking mannequin bit and the chase scenes. The update added more open areas. Music was good though.

I have done exactly this since childhood. I would always explore everywhere. Got me in trouble a lot when I had to be home at a certain time, before GPS and cell phones could fit in your pocket. I'd stumble around in the woods until I found abandoned/burned buildings and just explore the wreckages. I still do this quite often. A couple years back, on one of my usual walks, I noticed a hidden path into the woods and just followed it. Fallen trees had destroyed the railings and the place looked long abandoned, but eventually I was led to a gazebo, next to a small field with marker stones making a building-sized perimeter. I think it's technically private property, but it's too neat to not just wander in.

This is the most autistic dream I've had in quite some time, possibly the most autistic out of every dream I've had. My buddy messages me and telling me then he's starting a new Minecraft server for our friends. There's a gimmick however; we all have to be cringe. I remember this image in my mind of somebody's house with a sign that says "Welcumz to mai house!!! x3". I decide that my cringe of choice is roleplaying as Vriska Serket from Homestuck, emulating her typing quirks in chat and acting like a BPD powergaming bitch. The dream suddenly drifts away from this cringe Minecraft server, and now I'm going to a social gathering with the same friends IRL. At this point everyone stops doing the cringe bit and just acts normal, except I'm still roleplaying as Vriska in real life. Somehow I also look like her while still being me. I'm not cosplaying, I just look exactly like her. So now I am LARPing as a Homestuck character and everyones getting incredibly fucking pissed off at me and they start ignoring me. Then I wake up and after realizing it was a dream I think to myself "oh man Im glad all of my friends dont hate me because I was roleplaying as fucking vriska serket frome homestuck".

I suppose the open-endedness and vagueness of the game does lead to such esoteric and even schizophrenic ideas in some regard. The dream world and real world blend of the game does lend itself to many interpretations and to really conclusively state some sort of head canon as fact would be a bit hard to make. Sick anon, I do the exact same thing in the woods. I always wanted to just leave from home and just walk away and see where I end up for days at a time. Walking aimlessly so to say. I told my father about this once and he seemed concerned for me, and he just said "it ain't right" lol. I usually walk around 5-6 miles randomly just to see what is out there. In the winter, I would go out to the local frozen pond and walk in the snow and ice lake. That was an amazing memory.

Need to play 2kki and CU for more than 5 minutes next, I also played Yume Nikki Gensou, fun little game, need to beat it with the other characters sometime

i kind of feel bad for the kaibutsu, they seem to be relatively normal before they go off the deep and and their face caves in.
