The stun wasn't even really a big deal in Rivals 1 and the stun in Rivals 2 is the same length as a punish counter in SF6.
The real issue imo is how easy it is for her to tipper.

In a game where perfect wavedashing is just 2 button presses, I don't think L cancel would fit in the game, even if I would like it simply due to the fact that I am L canceling out of habit anyway.
