The verdict is I’m a gay manchild who likes to jerk his mutilated manchild cock to gay porn and I love the Nintendo Switch 2.

Boring upgrade and cripplingly expensive. Switch 1 launched when there weren't many handhelds but now there are tons of pc handhelds. Switch 2 isn't even that much cheaper than a ROG Ally which plays games better and isn't locked down. First party software is not very impressive so far but I do trust Nintendo to make some better games later on.

I'm satisfied with the hardware. Surprisingly, they managed to show a first party that actually got my interest in Kirby Air Ride but we still have to see it in action. Mario Kart and Donkey Kong haven't convinced me. As for the rest of the launch window, I'd probably buy Shine Post and that's it. It helps that I don't own a Switch 1 so there's some already released games I'd like to play on it. I'll get one eventually but I'm not in a rush, and I'm really curious to see where it stands a couple years from now.

Interesting, made me do some research. Xbox discs only hold 50 GB, like I thought, but PS5 discs hold 100 GB

The console price is honestly fine. High end of what is reasonable IMO. Compared to the market and competitor machines, what it offers is within the same price range.

The games being higher priced were expected except for Mario Kart. It sucks to see, but it's just the way the industry was going, games are $70 now. Not sure why they decided to jump over that with MK though, that's wild to me.

I'm mixed on the actual new games. Mario Kart looks awesome. DK looks neat but I don't know if I'd find it super fun, so I'll likely skip it. The wheelchair and tour games are lmao. Air Riders is cool, I'm interested in anything Sakurai AND glad it's NOT Smash, but I wish it could've been Kid Icarus.

That said I will be buying one on launch with Mario Kart and Bravely Default and also will play Wind Waker from the day one GC collection. I also own a PS5 and a PC with a 4070 Super. Metroid Prime and Pokemon Legends Z-A and Air Riders during the rest of the year. Also if the patch is day one, I'll for sure check out Pokemon Violet again, really curious how it'll run. I might also get back to TotK and fuck with the Zelda Notes shit since I fell off that game.
