This genre is weird in that it expects you to know all the characters to counter play but it’s impossible to know all the characters well. It’s also weird that it expects you to coordinate a comp with strangers but you have no time to actually do this so you just end up playing whatever and pray it works out.

What if team stuck with 4 dps niggers then players who pick tank and supp gets some kinda buff that only works when there is only 1 player for the role. If someone else picks tank/supp buff goes away. It will introduce its own problems but at least tanks/healers get to play the game and not wanting to kill themselves.

Just have role limits (max 3 min 1) and load everyone in at the same time. First cum first served. If the last players don’t like the role they’re left with they can just quit before the match begins and find another match. Instead of instantly ending a game with an early quitter the game can just reset everyone while it looks for a newcomer.
They’re exactly the same. It’s over watch in third person with different kits and the characters don’t look like trannies. Actually because of the last point I’d say it is a much better game than overwatch.
