If you like mystery dungeon games it's pretty good. Has a lot of post-game content and the methods for befriending monster girls are like little mini-puzzles which make good use of all the game mechanics. It is non-h though, so be aware that you do not get to fug the monsters.

Yes, but being able to punch about their weight class together is irrelevant to the question at hand. It's been a long time since I played the VN and a while since I played Paradox, but I remember VN Lazarus's argument basically revolving around the gross power disparity between the average monster and the average human, and while that's not a comprehensive look at the entire situation what it states still isn't incorrect. Paradox "debunks" VN Lazarus's argument by giving humans access to a lot more power that they lacked in the original, both through the job system/massive amounts of mana present after Heaven's fall, and through machina access (tactical nukes, anyone?). Even if most Paradox humans are still lazy shitters, there's still a far less offensive powergap between the average human and average monster, and that's very important to note. As far as the original timeline goes the humans there are still complete jobbers last I checked, and the crux of his argument still stands in the original context that he made it in.
It's not a coincidence that both AW and MW Laz take action around this same basic idea too. The political, social, and physical power disparities in those worlds are far more egregious in those worlds than the base Paradox world, and he tries to take whatever actions he can to help rectify the imbalance that he sees.
