A boomer shooter/hub-based RPG hybrid game with a mixed Hey Arnold/Urotsukidoji style, scummy inner city environment with heavy sado-sexual themes and garish colors. A massive bestiary inspired by early-gen YuGiOh designs, with some light Shin Megami Tensei elements where moon phases affect monster spawning, behavior, and player exploration.
I was literally just thinking of:
Fucking massive halo game, like, the entire halo universe
Get to choose who you are, be it spartan, normal marine, commander, oni researcher, etc
Starts just before the human-covenant war, giving you some time to build up and research or whatever
Once it starts, player has full freedom of choice to do whatever they can to fight the ayys, be it staying on one important planet the whole war if they really want, or jumping from place to place to be a fire-fighter
Or leave UNSC space and do operator shit in the covvie home worlds
OR do ONI research shit on halo rings and other forerunner relics out in space to unlock special shit
I'm pretty sure this would be my dream game, and it wouldn't even have to be in the halo universe honestly. I've been playing a lot of that Vietnam War game, and its really rubbing off on me.
