Improved combat

improved combat

improved stealth

dynamic time of day and weather

more enviromental hazards and terrain

more vehicles, gadgets and infrastructure

tighter pacing with less talky cutscenes, more focused on playing

new dynamic glossary feature where lots of the infodumps go instead

Everyone who played it for 20+ hours says its fucking amazing and can't wait for more

Previews comparing this to MGSV and BoTW and that it feels like Kojima's "ultimate game"

They fixed literally everything
Apologize

Death2.jpg - 1440x2160, 372.47K

improved combat

They removed it completely then?

DS1 = Rope game
DS2 = Stick and Rope game

They should add mountaineering into the game. Make vehicles way harder to unlock. I want to hike, mountain, and use rope to get around.

Kojima is making AAA Factorio

24243423.jpg - 1907x1080, 367.97K

Previews are saying tha enviroments in general feel more dangerous and punishing now to encourage using your tools more

Who's goddamn white baby is that

You can find a judo master that teaches you new combat moves apparently

Average dialogue in this game/movie:

Sam, it's FIGHTLIKEHELLDUDE, the ATs are attacking the base. You need to use the KKP to defend us

Why me?

Because the AI of BS is using you to expand the Shartium network along the coast of UCBA

UCBA? You mean United Cucks of Black America?

Yes, contact FARTMAN for more information

I sure hope theres more stealth, combat sections felt really shit because your only options are to walk slow, crouch or hide in grass.
combat felt even more barebones and blander than the early mgs games

It won't be GOTY because it isn't for everyone unlike Sekiro. Also I'm waiting on the pc port in a year.

trust me they added a ton of shit, like holograms with BT's and other stuff on it you can throw to distract guards, remove your backpack to be more agile etc. a lot of journos compared it to MGSV, there are also knives, different spears and even swords to unlock. Kojima has been cooking hard the last 6 years.

white baby

this is going to be a racist game

DS with stealth and combat that's as good as MGSV would pretty much be the perfect open world game.

Look at how angelic the White baby looks. LOL imagine some brillo pad chim chim in it's place

sounds like metal gear survive lol also the octopus boss fight looks like that boss from metal gear survive as well

Well, Kojima made Metal Gear Survive, after all.

yeah nigga take your meds, i'm sure legendary artist yoji shinkawa let himself get inspired by this turd.. you're a fucking idiot

Metal Gear Survive was clearly Kojima's idea but he never got the chance to actually direct it, there's way too many similarities between Survive and DS to be a coincidence

masahiro ito who worked on survive is superior to shinkawa

I'm pretty excited, literally all I wanted from tbe first game was more hiking with more terrain/weather effects that actually make you need your tools more often, so as long as I get that I'm good

playing DS1 offline was the superior option despite Kojimas vision

wow thats actually kinda cool. missed having magazines/distractables the most but more melee sounds fun

play it on release where everyone starts from zero

016.jpg - 1920x1080, 476.46K

playing day 1 and building the world with fellow players

kojima's vision

buying the game N months later and having everything built for you

sad byproduct

playing offline

necessary to have any sort of difficulty

you can also throw a boulder hologram and hide in it like the cardboard boxes in MGS. like I said, tons and tons of stuff, journos said they constantly unlocked new stuff, be it a new weapon, new gadgets, climbing gear, backpack upgrades etc. etc. there is also a skill tree you can specialize in combat, deliveries, stealth etc. also the more you do specific stuff the better sam gets with it, shoot a lot with shotguns then the handling will get better, sprint a lot his stamina will increase. like I said TONS of new stuff in this game

015.jpg - 1920x1080, 315K

>buying the game N months later and having everything built for you

this won't really happen this time as Environment disasters are much more harsh, there are earth quakes that will destroy bridges frequently or high water (don't know the english word whatever) to wash away ladders etc. this time stuff people built won't last forever

Does that mean we can finally say death stranding 1 was shit without a bunch of retards defending it tooth and nail?

If I'm going to be playing the first game now, should I do so offline then?

it wasn't, far from it but you can tell kojima couldn't fully realize his vision with DS1. He barely had an office, had to hire staff, they had to learn a brand new engine in less than 3 years, lot's of things kept Death Stranding from being a masterpiece but when you look at the development of that game it's truly wizard shit how they managed to make this game in such a short time but DS2 will definitely blow it out of the water, still DS1 was a great game.

DS1 will be remembered as the ambitious proof of concept that got mogged by its superior sequel.
Just like MGS1 to MGS2

Exactly, funny enough even Kojima compared DS2 with MGS2. He said it's a leap forward like MGS1 was to MGS2.

Something that should have existed was wind and its amd that.wond would affect sams balance. Thesr conditins should be harsher in higher ground.
Also sandstorms

E33 fags will be in shambles when this game absolutely mogs it.

This game is like some weird pro breeding campaign.

that's is now very much in DS2, depending on from what direction the wind is coming sam will get faster or slower, you know from behind it will push him a bit forward like IRL. sandstorms are also in and you can even get sunburned from being too much in the sun. It's insane what Kojima has done with this game, they thought about everything

010.jpg - 1920x1080, 378.44K

I'll apologise for nothing, I always loved death stranding. They should apologise to me as a pcfag for making me wait and seethe

too bad the one thing that should've been expanded upon and become more involved was instead dumbed down: on foot traversal, aka arguably the thing the game is about.

walking simulator + empty openworld + shitty crafting is good when Kojima does it

Dropped, go kys thirdie

thanks for the enlightening input, anon

Well the great thing about this game is it's your choice how you wanna do the missions, this game is all about choice, wanna go everything by foot? sure go for it. rather take a vehicle? do it. hell even monorails are a thing now where you can transport lot's of material, vehicles etc. The choice is yours, just like it was in MGSV

How many copies did E33 sell again? A fraction of DS1 at 20 dollars off across all platforms along with gamepass? Pffttttt

tranime frogrpg out of nowhere

ah, I see you're brown

There are things about DS1 that will always be special and unique only to it. Like Mads as Clifford, the lonely melancholic atmosphere, the lack of combat.

I wouldn't discredit the entire game just because the sequel improves some mechanics.

Every accusation is a projection shitskin.

100% agreed and yeah Mads was so good as Cliff, what a goddamn performance.

I loved mgs1,2 and 3 but hated mgsv and death stranding.

based

Cool so it’s no longer about delivering?

You hated MGSV only because it was unfinished, but you loved the sheer amount of options how you can handle missions and this is exactly why journos compare it to MGSV

buying the game N months later and having everything built for you

Weren't there different "shards"? I built a fuck ton of stuff with high durability one day and they were gone the next time I logged on. Or was their permeance dictated by likes?

basedo.

nope. I hated it as it was open world tedium and all that boring tedious loot crafting type shit for the weapons. all the missions were the same boredom of go here and fulton random idiot and there was no proper boss fights like the old games. not to mention the story was a load of crap.

of course it is, it's just way more enjoyable with much less frustrating moments, like you don't fall so easily anymore, the baby only cried 2 times during journos 30 hour playtime, overall it's a much more enjoyable experience

m8, the point is when you choose to go on foot, it is no longer interesting because they neutered the hiking mechanics

Impressive. It might actually be a mediocre game this time.

then you might still like DS2, much more variety in mission types, for example in australia you have to rescue and injured kangaroo from a bush fire, bring it to the animal shelter and during the game you can always come back and see how it's doing, how it grew up etc.

Previews comparing this to MGSV

Fuck, they ruined it.

the skill up dude was asked about it directly, and he said that it's the opposite, and Sam is way less likely to lose balance, stumble or fall, DESPITE the environments being much more craggy

The game is now 90% a boring, walking cutscene simulator as opposed to 95%

Wooooooooooooow!!!

then it's one word against the other, overall (and i read and watched all previews) the walking is way more enjoyable, less frustrating but still challenging

that's lou

well for me the snapshot you posted has no credibility, because that person described the hiking as "still nerve wrecking" which it never was to begin with. it was a mindful task, even relaxing in a way, definitely not nerve wrecking. so I have to assume this person played the game like an adhd retard to begin with.

Kino

Will Kojima give us another Walkman in DS2 so we can actually listen to the music we collect while we're walking around the world rather than only while we're pissing and shitting in our bedroom?

add literally every single thing that people who played DS1 asked for

even shit like being able to cut Sam's hair or music player

they are still not happy

He just can't win. 6 years of life spent on this game and some french baguette FOTM steals all the hype and GOTY.

crunched.png - 598x598, 510.06K

Just don't use vehicles, simple as
I hiked everywhere or used the buddy bot if I didn't want to hike, like the pizza delivery missions

KEK, basedfrogs buckbroke Kojimabeanerfaggots

Is this a Yakuza game?

for you maybe, tons of people found it annoying and frustrating so kojima took that feedback to heart. You can compare it to the souls games, dark souls 1 for example is much harder than elden ring, the bonfires alone are way more rare in dark souls, the bosses hit harder, have more health etc. elden ring is still a challenging game but they don't the difficulty down significantly to be more in line with the mainstream. The reason Skillup says this is because he thinks death stranding is a masterpiece so he obviously played it a lot and mastered the movement but for others the gameplay was too frustrating that's why kojima refined it a bit

I sigh and fall to the ceiling
I sigh and run to the kneeling
some smelly salty semen...

Expedition 33 is way better

yes you can even create your own playlist and unlock lots of songs. Journos said the music is even better than in DS1 which is crazy cause that soundtrack was already an absolute masterpiece

Very excited for this game. My only wish would be something of a lightweight camp system just because of how much emphasis they put into environment exploration/traversal. I loved being able to just take a break anywhere and have Sam relax. Would be cool to pitch a tent somewhere next to some trees and have the wind rip it up mid-rest.

you've slept through worse

tons of people found it annoying and frustrating so kojima took that feedback to heart

to me that just means that he pussied out and compromised on le vision for an audience that wasn't on board with it from the beginning. same with him putting in more combat "because people said they wanted me to make another metal gear". like what the fuck are you talking about bro? isn't that what physint is for? I'm gonna play death stranding 2 and hopefully be positively surprised, but to me it looks like the game was diluted for the sake of mass appeal.

Modded survival elements would be awesome

Slightly sad to see the same rope stealth takedown, it looks better this time but still a little lazy compared to all of kojimas other games choreography

also I assume we cannot pick up and hide bodies? MGSV perfected the basic mechanics. any disparity from that is disappointing. but im glad it's supposedly better this time around

Okay, cool.
Second question: How long did it take for DS1 to be ported to PC so I can roughly guess how long it'll take for me to be able to play this game since I don't own a PS5

look on the right and some leaked dialogue from the jp voice recording session was talking about tents

It was like 6 months

PCbros... How we dealing with spoilers?

Between this and GTA 6 I might unironically get a PS5

you can call it whatever you want but the truth is the game needs to be more mainstream friendly because the game needs to sell, they worked on this for almost 6 years but that doesn't mean he pussied out or would you say miyazaki pussied out for making elden ring easier than the other souls games? that's stupid as fuck

I watched the preview gameplay clips and I get this knock-off vibe from it. As if it's one of those meme clones. Gear icons, instead of being stylized schematic, they are now full graphic and look cheap. Ladders extend for ridiculous length. Ghost BTs now have glowing eyes.
It's like someone took Kojima's pristine vision and added a bunch of shit to appeal to wider audience. Maybe that's the case, sony told him to make it less artst in exchange for another balnk check.
I enjoyed DS1, but I felt like map was too small and once you start optimizing routes it gets even smaller.

don't forget Physint, Kojima's not Metal Gear action espionage stealth game, which will also be ps5 exclusive so get that PS5 already

I just want to make deliveries again, I don't mind the Normies having things to do but if the deliver aspect gets even better it will be a 10/10 game for me

Because he could have just made a new IP instead. More of the same with extra features is a bit uninspired

Fuck yeah, it'd make my day. Loved it in RD2. Such a small feature that barely gets used in games. Fuck, I included it in my game I enjoyed it so much. CAMP ANYWHERE I say.

desth stranding 1 sold enough for a higher budget sequel to be made so I don't see how that would be a big concern. not to mention that if sales had been a primary motivating factor to begin with, then he wouldn't have made a hiking simulator that is often derogatorily called a boring walking sim.

but mgsv was shit
loved death stranding btw

Ghost BTs now have glowing eyes.

the shit I have to read here all the time.... it's a completely new type of BT called "Watchers" the others still don't have eyes, ,there is even a clip from them at night where sam is sneaking around... dumbass

The reason why DS1 sold so well is cause people where curious about kojima's next game, the mystery behind it, that is all gone, everyone knows now it's a delivery game so lot's of those people won't buy this game. I'm not even sure if this game will sell more than DS1, also no fucking marketing from sony 40 days before release will make this even more difficult

I'm just going to assume snoylets are too retarded to appreciate it again and discussion will die again in one month until the pc release revives it

looks like some white trash baby. It's got a dumb look on its face. Future retail worker for sure.

Because it is. Wagecucks aren't breeding anymore.

That's a retarded argument when the game sales didn't stopped once it was revealed that the main gimmick of the game is to just walk, DS was being memed from all directions by people that wanted to see the game failing to the point even parody games of it got made, it has a fanbase is not just people buying without knowing what they are getting into

It had a lot of large streamers playing it that have yet to touch E33. I don't think people realize that a lot of normies just don't like turn based bullshit.

Kojima is based for making a pro-natalist franchise. Death Stranding is the antidote to doomerism.

Kojima invented something called "Story" and "Subversion"

UNFATHOMABLY BASED bless Kojima

Since there are sandstorms now, please let me wear something like this, looks so badass

You might be in luck, here he was teasing that Sam can get sunburned and look what he's wearing

new dynamic glossary feature where lots of the infodumps go instead

This is the only shitty thing. I dislike modern infodump/lore things through glossaries and wiki style (like GGStrive), tapes (like MGSV), emails (like DS1). A good story should be conveyed through dialogue and light infodumps by talking to npcs in towns or read libraries and exploring. It doesn't feel "alive and it's not world building if it's not incorporated into the world.
Imagine watching Star Wars or Godfather or Scarface or Fight Club or Requiem For A Dream or whatever and before the movie begins you need to read some pamphlet or brochure which huge wall of texts of infodumps and lore in order to understand the movie. I'm perfectly fine with not knowing the protagonist in Fight Club's father and mother and how his upbringing was etc in order to understand the movie. Likewise I don't need infodumps in DS2 if it doesn't contribute to the overall story and experience.

Eh. I really can't justify paying $400 or whatever for essentially 6 months early access to DS2. I really struggle to think of any use for it other than DS2 and, like you said GTA
I imagine Physint will be PS6

Depends desu. That could be there for those who want to dive deeper into the lore. Most games just go the route of omitting content and writing it as lore. I don't think Kojima would do that. It'll probably be that the game presents more than enough for the most players to sink their teeth into along with the glossary for those who want some more context or deep lore. He loves films after all, I don't think he'd leave huge plot points to a glossary most players won't even read.

Makes sense, you can get a frostbite in DS1 or even die if you fall asleep in snow

Nigger you're insane, having Die Hardman explaining the chiral network to you for the 20th time was easily the worst part of DS1, making a database you can access at anytime for that shit is a massive improvement. Also DS2 will benefit from being a sequel and most of the weird concepts already being established.

You retard, this is literally one of the best new features. Instead of letting characters say the same shit over and over again, especially explain to new people what are DOOMS, what's a chiral network etc. if a character in a cutscene talks about timefall, you can press a button and it shows and tells you wikipedia style what timefall is, it's similar to what is in FF16 and it helps A LOT with keeping a great pacing, you can even use it mid cutscene, it's a fantastic new feature

Heartman is the only character I care about

Get to reading anon

Bless this man, looks like they fixed everything from the first game and made what worked even better and added tons of new stuff to the experience. btw. they definitely fucked

Baste

the dynamic changing terrain in Death Stranding 1 was really underused, it was only used to make it easier top travel where people on the same server would travel often
im glad they made the changing environment affect you right away, before people would barely even reqalize the world around them is changing and would probably think they just forgot how things looked before

survive was a cool idea, but it was half assed just to cash in a bit more on the game

Do it how you want, the game is not that much easier with structures because when you go to a new zone you can't see anyones structures regardless. its only after youve been there before do you see other peoples structures

sounds like the hard work kojima and his team put in over the last 5 or so years paid off. Hope they can rest a bit now.

DOn't you have some weebshit to play where you self insert as a fucking japanese highschooler or something? Even though you're almost 40?

he obviously didn't play the first game anyway

I wonder if the story is taking more of a backseat this time, the focus on more dynamic systems and player customization seems to indicate so. In DS1 they deliberately didn't let you play the music player out in the world so that Kojima could play what songs he liked at specific moments, but now they let you use it whenever

Personally I like this change because I loved the world of DS1 but wasn't a huge fan of the plot, but I could see this being disappointing to some, it sounds structurally more MGSV than DS1.

You're still not allowed to use the music player off the chiral network and the previews already had them playing The Wilder in the same style to how the low roar songs would prop up so I don't think that's very likely

What is the game even about? Trump bad? kek I don't give a shit, it's too cringe.
Liberalism lost. We Taliban now.

I really wanted him to make a new IP instead of making a sequel to DS, but I have to admit I'm impressed with what I'm seeing. Looks like an actual proper sequel, something I didn't think the game could properly benefit from but they somehow did it. Definitely buying day one on PC.
I just hope his next two games are smaller scale or linear.

Kojima offered you rope but you responded with stick instead, now he's coming to fuck you in the ass with a bigger stick

Ain't saying shit till the game is actually released and I have more to go off of other than shills creaming their pants

That's fine. I'll offer that liberal hack lead instead.

Game Informer calls it "The Makings of a Perfect Sequel" now what's so interesting about this is Kojima has never done a direct sequel before, MGS1 is completely different to MGS2, MGS3 also new character, different loction, MGS4 again very different and MGSV COMPLETELY different. The fact that he nailed this so well is crazy.

Have they confirmed if Mexico and Australia are the only maps?

No they have not, journos played only in mexico and australia but at the end of the 30 hours they were only 40% done with the story so they speculate there might be another location afterwards. Plus, when Dan Ryckert checked the corpus (wiki thing) a character was already talking about another plate gate so chances are high there might be more locations after australia, maybe even SPAAAAAAACE because come on, we have a ship now and Cliff talked about the moon and outer space in DS1

I hope we get multiple outfits we can choose. That new trench coat looks fucking awesome.

As the name DHV Magellan suggests, the story steps into themes reminiscent of colonial domination. Furthermore, the rise of a private political organization called APAC (Automated Public Assistance Company) shows similarities with the PMC (Private Military Company) depicted in Metal Gear Solid 4. Since I haven't witnessed the story to its conclusion, it is too early to speculate on how these motifs will come to fruition in the full game.

I'm guessing the main plot will be about the colonization of Australia and arming everyone with sticks. There are now survivalist bandits that picked up weapons and kill on sight.

stick.jpg - 640x385, 67.7K

Yeah they said lot's of customization but wouldn't go into detail, honestly I wouldn't be surprised if we get Higgs guitar at some point in the game. This would be such a Kojima thing to do

APAC

AIPAC

I see you Kojima, I see you.

I don't have to apologize, I bought death stranding three times and I'm probably going to buy 2 twice too.

fuck, forgot the pic

More of the same with extra features is a bit uninspired

I don't think you know what 'inspired' means

IT'S... DOOMSDAY

FUCK YOU!

was genuinely the peak of vidya dialogue

based fellow porter, it's important to support creative visionary masterminds like Kojima otherwise we will end up in a few years with nothing but the same lame ass slop like call of duty to play because if games like DS2 flop you can bet your ass Physint will be generic as fuck cause sony won't allow kojima this much creative freedom anymore and this would be bad. I want a completely unfiltered Metal Gear like experience from him

YOU'RE THE PRESIDENT OF JACKSHIT

Sam doesn't get enough credit for how based he is

Pattern Language is an interesting book although it's more of "a good concept" since a lot of the specifics are somewhat idealistic and utilitarian especially when they move away from civil layout into interior design

It's so funny if you think about it, Kojima is used to critiscm cause when he first created the stealth genre everyone was like "wtf I don't shoot people in this game and instead avoid them?" and everyone hated it first, same with these delivery games but the more time goes by the more people start to understand how great and unique this concept is and it is actually fun to walk from A to B just like people realized it is fun to hide from enemies and not shoot them. Kojima is seriously such a genius, one of a kind on this planet.

Buy the game I am no longer asking

Kinojima.jpg - 2048x1682, 425.79K

I created the idea called 'double barrel shotgun', bitch

I already preordered.

DS2 is shaping up to be GOTY. I can hardly wait to play this masterpiece.

I honestly don't see how anyone could hate DS2. Kojima literally just copy and pasted MGSV mechanics into DS1 and then made a sick ass dynamic open world.

You WILL rescue the kangaroos
You WILL learn karate
You WILL get sunburns
You WILL build monorails
and you WILL have fun

yes.png - 680x333, 193.36K

This will look like a joke next to clair obscur

Kojima is rather unique in somehow being at both ends of the bell curve without being in the middle. He has very clever ideas and very retarded ideas but rarely normal ideas. And in a market overwhelmingly trending toward lowest common denominator focus group corporate extruded game product his willingness to be extremely retarded in the hope some of the retardation wraps back into genius stands out.

The crazy thing is even journos who absolutely hated DS1 love DS2, they played for ~30 hours but couldn't keep the save file but surprisingly they said they can't wait to go back and do it all over again. This alone should tell you how good this game really is. Goddamn, this game will turn out to be such a masterpiece.

America already has the UCA [United Cities of America], so for the sequel, I debated whether to use the same sort of setting or not," Kojima said. "The first idea I had was that you would have to go around disconnecting everything you connected, because you learn that connecting was a big mistake. But that didn't feel right, as it would just be reusing the same environment."

I wanted an area that was sprawled from east to west like America and also somewhere that faced the ocean to the north and south. In that case, Eurasia or Africa felt like too big of a continent, but in terms of size and scale, I felt that Australia was a good fit."

.Kojima then "squeezed out" an idea of the Plate Gate, which in-game acts as a portal to another continent and allows protagonist Sam Porter-Bridges to travel to new environments.

If I use this Plate Gate concept, I could make endless sequels!" said Kojima. "I, of course, don't have any plans to do that, but I already have a concept for another sequel. I am not going to make it myself, but if I passed it on to someone else, they could probably make it."

black-man.gif - 220x156, 16.16K

DS2 is getting GOTY because it's Keighley's show

Kojima has a concept for a DS3 but he wants someone else to make it

Stop me if you've heard this before

Everytime someone says this stupid shit I want to punch them through my fucking monitor right in their dumb braindead faces. If Keighley had any say about who wins the awards then WHY THE FUCK DID DEATH STRANDING NOT WIN GOTY AGAINST SEKIRO??? answer this fucking question. Over 30 journalists or so decide who wins the fucking awards and not Geoff you dumbfucked retard HOLY SHIT

A spin-off like Rising would probably be a better way to go. Feels like he can never let anyone else make a mainline game.

I think that it was actually supposed to win technically but it got disqualified because Geoff is LITERALLY a character in the game. Also the Famitsu guy. So they had to give it to Sekiro.

wouldn't surprise me at all, it's funny when people say DS1 was such a flop with critics when it was literally THE game with the most overall Game of the Year awards in 2019 lol

It was definitely my GOTY

cry-hardman.jpg - 1500x823, 190.15K

PC release on 2026

kms today

just get a base PS5 nigga (game looks incredible on base) you need it for physint anyway, you will cry again when you see physint is ps5 exlusive, just do it already and enjoy the game without having some faggot here spoiling it for you

Yeah, I was going to upgrade my GPU, but I'm considering just gettting a PS5 and calling it a day. It's not like I want to play anything else and then we have GTA 6 soon.

still blows my mind how good DS1 looks, a game that came out in 2019 and looks better than most other games coming out these days. This industry is so fucking garbage, barely any talent left. At this point Kojima Productions are literally carrying this industry on their back. DS1 releasing in 2019 boom, DS2 releasing in 2025 boom. Where the hell is naughty dog's new game?? over a decade and still won't come out until 2027 at the earliest, an absolute fucking joke and KJP doesn't get enough credit for it that they actually getting shit done in time. What a team, fuck the rest of this industry

Yeah I did the same, just recently bought a PS5 base just so I can play DS2 on day 1. I'm sure it will absolutely be worth it

MGSV looks better than most modern games and that game came out on the Xbox 360

Yeah it's absolutely crazy how good MGSV still looks even 10 years later. Kojima's team are literally wizards, such a talented team. Crazy thing is MGSV would have looked EVEN better if konami didn't force them to release the game also on old hardware
lol yeah I read that, absolutely ridiculous. Cuckmann as always having his priorities straight.

10 years later and Kojima made an MGSV clone. What a spineless little bitch.

After saying that he was tired of making MGS
I love the dude, but that as a cope out

implying death stranding was ever challenging

you cannot even die in the game let alone fail deliveries, your packages are returned to you in mint condition and even the most casual players get LLL ranks constantly

1000024925.jpg - 422x422, 38.08K

Sauce

just completely forget about great mechanics that you created and never use them again bro

He was sick of the lore of the universe, retard.

90197718.jpg - 720x405, 39.69K

tell that to the fucking retards who dropped the game after only a few hours just because it was too frustrating with the balancing and shit. You can read so many comments everywhere people dropping the game after a few hours, this society is so embarrassing.

DS doesn't have many hard failstates but it has lots of soft failstates, if you don't play optimally you get punished by losing cargo and getting slowed down

That's on Kojima, though. I loved the game, it's an easy 9/10 for me, but I don't expect normies to endure walking so much while literally nothing happens in a lifeless Icelandic world. That's why the came got stuck in the mindsphere as a walking/mailman simulator.

Physint will be the actual MGSV clone

Is that the Chiral Artist?

space

TRIPLE K HOOLIGAN MOON MAN CONFIRMED, GET IN HERE YOU CHICKEN WING EATING PLAYERS

did they add gameplay to this walking simulator movie game?

Unironically yes, that's what real artists do.

Reminder that death stranding was pro-life

Honestly I'm looking forward to more ruined urban areas, DS really failed me in that. There's some spots in the first area with cars buried in the ground but they're completely covered in moss so they just look like rocks.
Stuff like this is what I want to see a lot more of, actual ruined civilization we can traverse and walk through/over even if it's just a highway with some vehicles on it and some billboards

Thank fuck Kojima is a game designer and not an artist

based.jpg - 1054x358, 50.42K

Where have you seen this information? Hideos trailers?

Games aren't art, says an impotent hack

Kojima's take on "are games art?" is unironically based.

Says he views games more as museums than art in themselves

"You can direct people and place art in the museum, but its ultimately up to the visitor what they want to stop at and appreciate

I 100% agree with him on this

Ew, she smokes
Give me the apocalyptic monster in red anytime

am i missing something, aren't her hands supposed to be old and wrinkly because of timefall? haven't played death stranding in years so i can't remember if she got fixed up

It's going to be explained in DS2, but Kojima probably felt the need to make her relationship with Sam less disgusting and gave her a way to reverse her condition.

granny pusy

if you read some of the previews you probably can guess how she will get her youth back but I think the character Rainy will help her with that cause she can do... stuff

now you can walk harder in your walking simulator

Just deliver pizzas in real life bro, that seems to be your calling.

Most open world games have tons of walking and has you doing fetch quest, Death Stranding is just earnest about it

btw. if I'm right about that we're in for a very hot scene between Fragile and that character, boys because Fragile has to be naked for that to work

ill stop going to v for the next 2 years

I'm gonna be real sad when Kojima stops making games, you can make fun of him all you want but he's a type of baby boomer game designer we don't really see anymore. Millennials and Gen Zs idea of game design is typically very "Dude, what if Dark Souls? What if Earthbound? What if Zelda?"; but Kojima has that old pre-gamer game design mindset. Just having wacky ideas not really based on other games, just concepts that he finds interesting and fun. It feels very untainted by modern gaming. This idea that video games can be "anything"

The funny part is that I've seen lots of people who play video games struggle with the idea of what Death Stranding is because their ideas of gaming too "locked in" in established tropes and genres, but when I showed the game to my dad he understood the concept immediately. Sometimes you just need those fresh eyes

Shills are already in full force, I see.

Death Stranding did not need more combat or stealth

I could not agree more, well said. When this man stops making games or passes away, even the biggest haters will understand what we've lost and no one will ever make games like Kojima did but for now it's too early, low IQ brainfucked zoomer retards like this dude take a few more years to grow up and understand what an absolute brilliant mastermind Kojima is

It will be the superior game just like botw is better than totk

Yeah, it did, and Kojima did right this time, even better is also optional.

absolutely not, unlike nintendo kojima isn't lazy as fuck and used the same location, just for a starting point

I hate this argument so much it's unreal
in mgsv, ALLEGEDLY, whatever you picked had its own drawbacks and a specific set of challenges
vehicles in DS1 were just the superior method of travel, even while trying to climb mountains
that isn't a choice

The people in question are deluded enough to believe E33 is a revolutionary game that will win GOTY over DS2. That should tell you all you need to know about the kind of retard they are.

im hyped to play as elle fanning

Translation

my games are not art

That's cause he has nothing of value to say. It's just a copout.

RELEASE THE FEET SCANS NOW!!!
