They covered up some 6 or so costumes at release. Most people thought because of Sony directives. But then it turned out it was because they were scanning existing clothes and Korea has IP laws for clothing designs so they could be sued for keeping the outfits as is.

We were in a golden age around the PS1 to early PS3 era, then gaming became truly mainstream and it was all over after that. I sometimes wonder how the gaming landscape would have been if Nintendo didn't have have those censorship guidelines for the NES and majority of the SNES era as they didn't lift them until shortly before MKII came out on the SNES back in August 1994 or so.
It doesn't even look like a big visual upgrade. Why the fuck would I ever buy this censored demake?
