I feel like no one really questions this anymore because everyone knows the game already, but one of the first dungeons in Ocarina of Time being such an out there concept is extremely bizarre.
Like we're basically still setting the tone for what dungeons even are in this game and suddenly it throws you a curveball so hard that it never gets repeated again in the entire rest of the series.
I don't know what it was called in other regions but the game we got here under the name Super BC Kid was easily the weirdest shit imaginable and had a lot of this.
