I don't think so?
in a couple of years maybe? maybe more.
schizo post
I'll data mine you anal cavity, bitch boy.
What's the best GPU for 120fps 1080p gaming
a 3080
space marine 2
i'll upgrade with the 60 series since SURELY nvidia will learn their lesson after the 50 series
5090
rx 9070
Ye, best GPU I've owned in fucking years. Gotta say I'm disappointed in ray tracing. How come it looks and works fine in CP2077 but is broken and tanks performance like hell in most other games?
CP2077/Jedi Survivor
nope
Not for a while.
I wanted to do a 9070 XT but it refused to play nice with some aspect of my system, so I swapped out for a 5070 TI. I think in the end I'll probably be happier with it anyway, better VR/ray tracing performance is nice.
I wanted to do a 9070 XT but it refused to play nice with some aspect of my system
How in the fuck does this actually happen. I've owned both AMD and NVIDIA GPU's and never had a problem with either.
Skill issue?
4070 Super
Yes
Grim Dawn,also CP2077 and Metro 2033
EU5 because it isn't released yet
In 5+ years maybe
GTX 1650 Super 4GB
How over is it for me?
oblivion, e33, doom, would have suffered infinitely if i stayed on my 6600. hl2 rtx and portal rtx still barely runs though
When are you planning to upgrade?
when i need to
Is that the legendary first 8 GB card Sapphire built without asking AMD?
rx 6650 xt
yea
Oblivion
everything works at least at 30fps
maybe 2028 at least post GTA 6 PC release, in time for elder scrolls 6
first 8 GB card Sapphire built without asking AMD?
elaborate
But yea, I bought this puppy when the rest of Anon Babble got shafted by the 3.5 meme. Fantastic fucking card.
Nah, it's just 4GB anon.
860m, going to go big this year and buy a 9060xt
elaborate
The 290x vapor-x had a special version that had 8gb of vram.....and no other 290x did. 8gb came ad standard for the grenda (390/x) refresh though.
luv me 7900xtx

waiting for 5090 prices to stabilize. It's becoming more common, so soon
7800xt
Yeah
Expedition 33
Don't know
Don't care until I upgrade my monitor again
Which GPU do you own Anon Babble? RTX4070S FE
Are you happy with it? Yes
What game are you playing on it at the moment? Tetris Effect Connected
Anything you want to play but can't? No
When are you planning to upgrade? When needed/ feel like it.
4070 ti super
yeah i guess
darktide and frostpunk 2
nope
not in a long time
Many many many such cases
I recently upgraded to this bad boy after using a 1080Ti since 2017.
I'm running both Linux (Fedora 42) and Windows 11 on my system. The card is rock stable running Linux without a single crash in over two months. Windows has some game crashes and some complete system crashes leading to reboots. I should probably just stop using Windows entirely, but FSR4 and AV1 hardware encode are not available on Linux yet.
I have an RX 5700 that's still good enough. I priced out a middling upgrade yesterday and it was as expensive as my entire parts list at around $800. this hobby isn't worth that much anymore.
If you are running Linux for Raytracing emulation RX 5700 can still play every game except for FF7 Rebirth.
Which GPU do you own Anon Babble?
6700 XT
Are you happy with it?
Mostly yes, runs most games very well at 1440p but it also gets very hot and loud. Might try and tinker with undervolting
What game are you playing on it at the moment?
Oblivion Remastered, CP2077
Anything you want to play but can't?
Flight sims in VR
When are you planning to upgrade?
Sometime before the end of the year maybe
4070 ti
Yeh it plays everything i want but a bit miffed that 3 months after buying it they announce the Ti Super 16GB
Just finished Exp33, now Doom Eternal on goy pass with some Satisfactory.
I'm playing left 4 dead 2 on a 9070XT at 4k 300fps
RX 580
I believe GPU's shouldn't cost more than 250$ for the best one. This is the most realistic pre inflation price I can think of.
Because I am now 30 with children and battling the mental/finance boss, I have never been more aware about how money leaves my wallet and the direction it's pointed at (interpret this however you would like).
I want to sell the 580 on eBay and upgrade to something 2024 proof and lower (if that makes sense, I won't be playing any newslop from the current day onward unless it's so good I must pirate it, like stalker which fortunately I've been playing with 50fps with the engine tweaks).
I could literally just keep playing the games I love for 10 more years on my current hardware (endgame am4 build with aformentioned 580 that needs to be upgraded but there is no true need to)
GPU market is fucking retarted right now. 144hz 27" Benq 1080p monitor btw. Would like to enter 30"+ Curveworld with 1440p res but that's also gated behind ridic arbitrary highprices. I have the money I'm not a total poorfag but fuck me if it isn't a gut punch making an expensive shopping basket full of the things you 'want' but then remember you literally don't /need/ to and why would you take 1k out of the potential kid fun fund. Gutpunch =/= just being a mature normie? I hope
thx for reading my fucking bloge datafarmers
holy based
I'm bout to Klarna a 9060 over 7 years at 9 bucks a month fr no cap
5090
yes
gmod
no
never again
making an expensive shopping basket full of the things you 'want' but then remember you literally don't /need/ to
as a former neet who only now has disposable income I still get this voice in the back of my head telling me exactly that any time I look at expensive things I can afford to buy
RTX 2070
If the game is past 2022, it has some issues running it, otherwise, everything runs fine
The Finals and it runs like ass. Other than that, I've replayed all the Bioshock games and i'm now finishing up Prototype and no issues at all there
I'd like to play The Finals at a stable fucking framarate at 2k like I used to back at release when it wasn't bloated unoptimized trash
When money won't be an issue (so never)
5090. not powerful enough, need more
never again
you're gonna buy the 6090 on day 1 and you know it, consoomer
Reaper
More like pooper with that tiny cooler
Should've went with the pulse or a higher tier powercolor
6950xt
This card really holding up and I think it can even hold up for another gen or two since as long as I get 60 fps at 4k I'm golden.
3080
Its fine enough for most things. It struggles with anything from the last few years that is at all demanding unless I drop the settings at 1440p
Monster Train 2, Last Epoch, Expedition 33. Can't play the last 2 on higher settings without problems.
No, I can play everything just not at high settings.
I decided to get a 5070 ti or better if I find anything under 800 bucks which 5070 tis are pretty close to right now so fingers crossed. Otherwise I guess Ill end up waiting for a while. Card is decent but its showing its age for sure.
only reason i got this is because my 3090 aged like milk. i'm probably not gonna be playing anything all that much in like 3 years from now so no point in upgrading anything
RX 7900 XTX
Ermm, didn't you hear, 4k is NOT viable on any modern gpu!
I "upgraded" to a 4070 but now every single unreal engine game crashes to that stupid black box message after about 10 minutes of gameplay.
pay pig slopper
paypig
poorfag
4080
yes
Various games
not really
idk, not in the next few years at least
